What are we allowed to talk about now? I've seen a couple threads moved that didn't break any rules.how does that "weird you out"?

No shit, Sherlock. It does stop people from seeing them and engaging though.threads going to the dump, doesn't stop you from posting in them.
Yeah, Epaminondas and Pelopidas were pretty badass.
I usually just read fiction. I like tami hoag and dean koontz . I suppose some of these goons giving you a hard time did you a favor and made you smarter . Whenever I see posters post links and deep knowledge of a subject I always wonder if they had to look it up or if they do it off the top of their heads . Only subjects Im really knowledgeable about are music and gi joe guys

I just want to know what the new rules are.
Victim card throwing? These are threads I didn't agree with, but they didn't break any rules so I don't understand the move. I'm not remotely claiming any victimhood.sometimes people can't play nice. sometimes OP's were started for that specific reason. so they get dumped.
steady your victim card throwing hand, its pretty business as usual.

I think you're trying to tell us something.1. Scotch
2. Bourbon
3. Rye
4. Whiskey (other)
Fair enough. Feels a little loose, or at least more enforced than normal, but the rules themselves I get. I just don't want this place to become too moderated, the freedom used to be one of the big draws of the War Room.I'm not sure which threads you're referring to, but the only real guidelines to threads are those in the WR Rules and the basic fact that this is a political subforum.
Most commonly it's threads with an inadequate OP (especially just a link, image or video).
Besides that though, dumping or merging threads has always been the most subjective of calls and there's no real way around that.
Other common criteria for merging and dumping would be:
Off topic (including meta threads about the War Room).
Too many threads which are basically the same on the front page.
"Left-wing" and "Right-Wing" threads on the same topic.
The same thread being repeated on a regular basis.
Race baiting.
Threads where the topic isn't being discussed.
Threads where the OP is misinformation.
Because they're not my threads, I'm just popping in the lounge and bringing it up. Not like I'm derailing this thread and I'm just curious as to what's up.how about going to the source and asking the mods about specific threads? instead of the vague soapbox post in the lounge.

Cuba = rum thoYou claim to be a socialist but rank vodka at 8??
Lol, rum.
Go take some selfies for instagram, Becky
See? I knew it had to do with CubaI would have previously ranked bourbon #1, but I recently spent time in Cuba and was reminded how awesome rum is.
