For sure. The other big dog we had growing up was a huge chow with a thyroid problem. I'm probably going for a mid-size next time.
It's probably some stupid "macho" thing but I really want a dog that can sit in the passenger seat of my truck with his/her head out the window woofing at people we drive by and their little purse shitter dogs.

Look how happy the fuzzball is.

That's why I generally do not like watching serials as they are airing, prefer waiting until they're done so I can know if it ends well or not. When I started watching Breaking Bad the second to last season had come out just as I caught up to it. So I only had to wait for the final season and by the the consensus was that the show was the best thing since sliced bread.

I didn't say that it was though and neither did the tweets. In fact those tweets articulated the same thing you did in this post, that its the economic system that has encouraged the splintering of the extended family.

I guess I'm not that patient. I avoid any show usually only on season one and if I do watch it, I google if a second season was green lit first. Networks bail on a show far too easily and Netflix is even beginning to do it too now. I started watching GoT after the second season had started up and BB after two seasons had aired.

Not macho for me, I just like giant friendly loyal bastards. Great at watching the yard in addition to being big goofy cuddlers and wrasslers, great at joining me for swimming or in the mountains (if I ever move near mountains again)

First of all, I accepted your data without looking at it based upon your statement about a small difference, but then I looked at the graphic and it doesn't appear to be at all relevant to me.

And no, the tweets didn't say that. They said liberals are to blame. I presented a counter argument that ideology is irrelevant except as snake oil to bilk the masses.

I've been bit by dogs before. Only once by a dog that was a lab or bigger (not counting the puppy mouthing shit that all pups do and Chester did as well). Little shitheel dogs though? Been bit at least 10 times by those fuckers.

Yea, I get that. It's just portrayed constantly in the same manner and I felt like they could've done better than using that same template for a number of episodes. One example is getting the preachers kid out of protective services. It all worked out when it shouldn't have and it was apart of the ultimatum theme. Maybe the death comes back to bite them in the ass but it sure doesn't seem like it at this point.
I get you. Those ultimatums usually end up with Marty or Wendy giving some impassioned spiel and that resolves it. When I said earlier that Wnedy is getting predictable I meant it partly in reference to these. I think Bateman still pulls them off well enough but I can see how someone else might see otherwise.

I just hate following a show and getting invested in it only for it to flounder in the end. Such a let down when it happens.

Whoever that guy gets to do the music for his shows though hits it out of the park

Google 'katey sagal forest rangers' to have your mind blown (if you weren't aware).

I love also their version of Gimme Shelter. Fantastic soundtrack.

Lost comes to mind. Mother of all failures.

Yea, I get that. It's hard to know how that should be handled. Like I avoid all Showtime dramas now from what I read about Dexter. I don't boycott any other networks but probably would avoid series by certain writers/producers if they disappointed me in the past.

This is why I have never watched Firefly.

Me at an art museum...

A natural history museum though? I'll be there all damn day.

Fair point yeah. I've never been to a major museum as an adult but prefer the natural history stuff to paintings. I geek out pretty hard for anthro stuff especially. Like in an art museum you'll usually find votive statues, old decorative weapons/armor. Anything that links art with history is my favorite part of art museums.

ozark stuff
Wasn't the ending like, super freaking implausible to the degree that it pulled you out of the plot a bit? I mean we go from plausible to "should be swarming with federal agents for a variety of serious reasons" pretty quickly.

My dad has one of these. Hes a big, aloof goofy bastard. But just the sheer size of those guys is intimidating.

Every time I watch that vid my brain is like "lady, maybe the pup is protesting having a pile of fucking shoes at the bottom of the stairs?"

LOL right.
Easiest treat bribery situation ever imo. Everything gets so much easier when you just bribe them and stop trying to impose your will. Save that for serious situations imo. I learned that the hard way.

That too. He probably hated stumbling down into that foyer like that.
