Somedays , it's pretty easy to come here, read the thread titles and say fuck it.

Until this last season of Game of Thrones Dexter was the benchmark for a great series that fell apart in the later seasons.
I know about that but he seemed to be implying the fault is with the network for some reason.

Lost started out really great. First show I ever binged, three seasons in two days.
I remember that show being really big at the time.

I think a problem with a lot of these shows is that their premise is really strong but when they catch on they have to stretch things out so that even if they had an ending in mind they have to pad the whole thing out to deliver season after season and eventually somewhere along the way they go off the rails. When I hear a show has any more then like four seasons I already get reluctant to watch it.

this is angering me

I like going to museums, and am more than glad to fund them. Museums have zero influence on my decisions when picking housing.

Housing and "Where to Live" seem like different things to me. Like we're mobile enough that being in or near a city with museums and theaters is good enough. It's hard for me to imagine settling down somewhere that simply didn't have museums, art or theater scene (unless I'm going after some other sort of specific goal in life).

If you ever make it to Philly you have to check out the Barnes and Rodin museums

Why are we still there?

Two U.S. service members were killed Monday in Afghanistan.

No other information was provided in the short press release sent out Monday afternoon by NATO’s Resolute Support headquarters, which oversees the train, advise and assist mission in-country.

When asked whether the two American service members were killed during the same operation, officials referred Military Times to the press release, stating that they “have nothing further to add.”

Department of Defense policy requires the names of service members killed in action to be withheld until 24 hours after the notification of next of kin has been completed.

Citing anonymous officials, the Associated Press reported that an Afghan soldier shot and killed the two U.S. troops in Kandahar. The Afghan soldier was wounded and is in custody, according to the officials.

The two latest deaths bring the number of U.S. troops killed in action in Afghanistan to date this year to 12. There have been nearly 60 U.S. troops wounded in action so far this year.
