Cumming's district is not Baltimore. It encompasses some of Baltimore and other areas. Since Trump's attack was directed specifically at his district, we might as well deal with facts.

Aside from being factually incorrect, this is just idiotic. Is Cumming's statesman service evaluated based on the statistics of his district? If so, are politicians representing wealthy areas worthy of praise?

This would be a lot more productive if Trump (or his brainless proxies navigating this forum, say hi) could elaborate on how Cummings has failed the people of his district. But I'm sure you'll just quote one part of this post and ignore the rest if it's not convenient.

I must say I do love Zizek's stance on dangerous propaganda being true.

The backers of propaganda can say "well what the person said is true.". At a very simple level it could be someone spamming videos of crimes done by a certain ethnicity. Of course there is video evidence of it, so it must be true.

Second order analysis goes to the wayside like couldn't anybody just post crimes from other ethnic groups. Is it possible that forces at play make one group more susceptible to street crime and others to white collar crime?

Bit dimwits tend to stop thinking at pathetic single variable analysis. And it is very easy to steer people into directions based on it.

You hear it all the time. Women make less money than money, single variable analysis tells dummies the buck stops at prejudism. Black people commit more crimes than white, single variable analysis tells you it's because of skin colour. Some democratic cities are very poor, single variable analysis tells you Democrats are at fault for poor cities.

It is all extreme intellectual laziness. Like my post to dump the video of the guy getting robbed in Baltimore. Like someone finding a video of a crime in a city has serious analytical worth? And of course the vast majority of posts in the thread are extremely lazy.

Anyhow, back on topic, it seems like it's obvious that some people will buy into the weak propaganda in the President's vapid tweets. Definitely his MO.

No, because either Trump is right in that West Baltimore is a crime ridden, rat infested shit hole, or he's flat out wrong and it's a normal suburban area with great opportunity for everyone.

You were pushing back on Trump's assessment. Er go, you must think it's a pretty good place to live. Is it, or do you want to clarify a bit more. Which you should definitely do in the actual thread, instead of hiding in here with all of your ball washers.

No, that's way false. Parts of it are extremely safe (way above the national average) and parts of it are extremely unsafe. I'm not aware of a source of district-wide crime stats (obviously you are not either, but it's taken for granted that you're just blindly defending "daddy" and don't have any interest in accuracy), but it's probably a little above average overall.
