Big fan of specialists, and bjj leg lock wizards are fun. I'm a fan
I lost my shit when he started fighting. I'm a huge fan of his submission grappling matches. Those fucking rolls are badass.
Slightly off topic but I was at open mat, and I had a roll with one of the really good guys that beats me up every time. I could smell alcohol on him and was scared to death the guy was going to accidentally break one of my limbs. Didn't turn out that bad though.

I like the idea of a top BJJ guy that can at will throw whatever kicks they want without concern. You could get a pretty cool fighter out of that idea. Not sure Hall is the best iteration of it but I do like watching his fights. I don't think they are that boring but they aren't exciting either.

The Maynard fight was slow because Gray was scurred. Ryan Hall fights like a fucking ninja. More often than not if he's on a card it will be my most anticipated fight.

Also back in my BJJ days I would always have his instructionals on in the background. Hands down the best BJJ instructionals out there.

What is it with this fetish you have with feces and "flatus expelled through the anus?"
lol. That guy has a long history of fascination with anus. He needs to overcome his perversions.

I was caught off guard by it but I suppose a buzzed guy who's that good is far more composed and in control then most. I've only been hurt three times and they all were from spazzing white belts. Two of my knuckles can't crack and I had a knee injury that lingered for about two months. The same principle seems true in Rugby. The time I got most hurt was always from some person who came down for their first practice. Funny enough, I have a third knuckle I can't crack and it's from that. The slight califlower I have on one ear is from some dumbass clapping both his hands on my head as I was heading into him (Rugby, not BJJ).
Same with boxing/kickboxing. It’s the newbies that want to swing at your chin.

Assholes. Ha
I like grappling, I usually do Judo but I went to BJJ class a couple of times and it was great apart from this: everyone high fived everyone else after practice. I'm too asocial to enjoy that. Also, there was a new guy and he started like moaning everytime I put a hold on him? He was like "owh mm that was a good one".

I was looking at some friends of mine and they were just dying from laughter. It was so uncomfortable.

Real talk what's with all the manbuns in BJJ? Is it like this in the states too?

I haven’t been to many gyms but the one I’m at, I’d say there’s maybe one or two guys with one. Pittsburgh just likely has a much lower percentage of those guys.

It's even worse in bouldering, that's just a hipster magnet.

Yea, we don’t have too many of those and the ones we do are skinny with a different type of haircut.
