That looks like it might work. I have one of those protractor tools somewhere, so I should be able to get a decent angle. The main difference is that I was going to make my table top with lined up lumber instead of a flat panel, but I could make a template on some cardboard and then transfer it on to an oversized top so I can cut the corners straight. Thanks!
unless you have a thicknesser and jointer, or hand planes and lots of patience, sheet material will work much better for a desk top, it will be covered in crap within days anyway so you wont notice it, a good piece of birch ply makes a nice furniture surface once its lightly sanded and varnished, masking tape up the surface of the sheet before scribing helps stop chipout when cutting, try to use a fine blade in your jigsaw , and you could round over the front edge with a router. dont forget to swear like a trooper when doing it,along with cutting your finger, its traditional when doing home improvements :D

Any Ryan Hall fans ITT. Dude is on quite a tear right now and should get a bump up in competition.

I made an end table using pieces of 1x6's for the top. I was able to get them pretty well alligned with a pocket screw jig and a planar/sander. It helped that I had some pretty straight wood to start out with, though. I'll consider it. I sketched some things up and I htink I have a way to not waste too much material. I'm going to frame the outside edges, which will get the main pieces to 29.5" instead of over 36"

You guys seriously need to adopt the metric system.

Honestly not a fan of his fighting style but it's damn impressive that he beat Elkins, and kind of humiliated him in some ways.

wait, what is DDOS?
I think it's something those darn kids do to take down a website. Actually don't even know if this was really a denial of service attack or some other kind of jiggery-fuckery high up in the network, it just felt like one.

LOL...nevermind, I should slow down and actually read ...yea, to answer your poll question that's immediately what I thought, I thought I was IP banned. and then I tried logging on using my work cell phone. I breathed a sigh of relief with that DDOS page came up.

and then today, I get dubbed...very Ripskaterish infraction.

There was a message showing up about some sort of DDOS prevention tool, so it's a fairly reasonable bet that there was foul play involved.

From watching MMA I'm ok at reading height/weight measurements, and miles to kilometers is easy enough.

Everything else is a crapshoot though. I must've googled how much is an ounce about 50 times by now.

You fucks should seriously get your act together.
