I would never admit to doing that. Also I think I've lost an inch of height over my adult life. Not cool.
circumcision gone wrong?

My tallest of my grandparents is 5 foot 2. I never have a freaking hope.
That place is completely different to handle though just because of the volume in poster and new accounts as well. I’m glad I don’t have to deal with it. I think I removed it from my sig but sherdog logic is if you lose, your a can. If you win, your a can crusher.
My final days in the place were where I’d ask people using hyperbole on bashing a certain fighter to tell me where they rank them and if they ranked them insanely low id ask the fighters they believe to be higher. They’d either answer rational but stick with calling someone a can they just agreed is #5 in the world or they’d start listing ridiculous names that could be that person which they could get embarrassed over later. It just gets silly.
Women almost always prefer someone taller when they are talking criteria.
Realty is looks, personality (especially humor), and being successful are way more important to the ladies. So is having your own independent identity and sense of self worth that has nothing to do with them.
And for a small minority with daddy issues, being an asshole helps. Avoid those.
Of course all of this is high school. Height and boob size will end up being much less important than help in raising a family and being a life long friend.
Mad max as a character is not that compelling
That's fair enough. He's just a blip on the radar to the cinematic universe created around him. Oddly enough, the character of Mad Max is not the reason you watch Mad Max. It's the whole package. He can only be a protagonist in that setting. Taken as is, he's pretty generic. What makes those movies special is the unique vision of an apocalyptic world, combined with excellent pacing and amazingly raw action sequences.
TBH, anybody could play Mad Max. His character isn't really the point. It's the spectacle surrounding him. There's nothing particularly special about the character itself.
I think that’s all true. And Road warrior probably carried it off the best.
Although his character is important in the original mad max. It’s your typical Charles Bronson revenge thing (even though he is a cop) after his family gets gang banged. Road warrior was more in line with what you are saying, although even there Mel had more depth as the played the typical “I don’t give a fuck hero who eventually gives a fuck” over the current guy.
For marriage and providing. That's it.
The taller in shape guy will fuck her on the side. I have no idea where this movement of men who think they can be physically unattractive to their wives started from.
Yeah, I meant to put a(barring the original) in there somewhere.
After that though, it's never really been this personal story of Mad Max. He's just a vessel to forward the plot. There's no real attachment to him, past the first flick. He's just a guy. It could be him, or anyone else if they wanted.
It's the universe and the action that drives the franchise. Max was basically a plot device in "Fury Road". They could've called that character "Jim", and it would've worked all the same.
I read that book back in the 80s.My wife had us start The Handmaids Tale and this is a weird fucked up show
I read that book back in the 80s.
Is the show good
The first thing I mentioned was “looks”.
And success is very attractive to women. Some of them are fucking around, sure. But it’s going to depend on how short, how ugly, how lacking in personality he is vs. just his success.
A successful shortish guy who is good looking or has a lot of charm and is married to a 7 who is not a ho bag is going to be very different than some 4ft wrinkled face asshole who married to a super model bimbo because he had the $$$$ bills yo.
You guys going on about alpha tall in shape guys fucking other people wives need to grow up. And I say this as someone with no issues in any of these areas, ima sherdog 4/5 so I’m all good.
Yup agree
But it fury road was maybe just a bit too much camp for me.
I don't think "camp" is the right word. You have to dig a little to find it "campy". It's all well handled. I think the term you're looking for is "overrated", because all it was, was some long ass action sequence, and people treated it like it was some timeless nuanced masterpiece, like "There Will Be Blood".
It's good for what it is. What it is, is a very shallow action flick, that knows what it is, and excels at it. It's not bad for what it is, but the sploogfest was a little ridiculous. It's "The Road Warrior" with modern effects. "The Road Warrior" was way more revolutionary than "Fury Road" could ever hope to be. It's a nice upgrade. Nothing more.

My grandpa was known in his little town as ''Big Hank'' because he grew to 5'10.
