This is one of my all-time favorite exchanges on this site. The incongruity of the two participants in every way is lol-worthy.
It's almost like one side is incapable of talking in good faith about some topics, so they have to repeatedly and comically force straw man arguments for the other side.

This is another example in which there is an internal contradiction of the conservative reasoning, but that is not allowed to matter in the conservative mind: as it is pure Dasein. I experience the argument that red lining was racist as false, and I experience the idea that redressing the effects of red lining in these areas as racist. One cannot reason oneself into such a position, but that doesn't matter: system 1 is in control.

Good faith = Agree with me

Cool that it rustled you bad enough to bring it to the Safe Space Lounge so you can have your dick sucked by the rest of the goof troop

And as if on cue, here they come.

LOL

I know. Hence why more people agreed with me, and called you a fucking idiot.

But hey, at least you have the Safe Space Lounge to run to.
It's weird to talk about safe spaces considering I was direct with you and unflappable, while you were fully flapped during our exchange there, behaving like a small girl and looking for any way out you could find.

Also, I think @Fawlty had/has the correct stance on reparative policies related to discrimination against black Americans: if it can be accurately targeted and addressed, we should do it.

Chris Hitchens, along with many great thinkers, had the exact same opinion: that if wrongs can be identified and directly redressed, they should be, and the endless attempts at obfuscation and whatabouts and self-victimization by reactionary conservatives should be ridiculed.

(you'll have to disregard the video title; apparently it was made by an "anti-SJW" conservative moron who didn't realize Hitchens was arguing for reparations, at least theoretically, and ridiculing persons like him)

Cool that it rustled you bad enough to bring it to the Safe Space Lounge so you can have your dick sucked by the rest of the goof troop, instead of engaging in the actual thread, where pretty much everyone is agreement with me, and you'd be humiliated just as badly as Failty was for even beginning to entertain such a ridiculous proposal by a loony racist Democrat.

Safe space indeed. Or Plats. They so long for connection. They want to connect with each other. This is their social group. Their social lives. Like a fuckin nursing home in here. Funny how much ass Fawlty kisses around here and still ends up getting yellowed all the time. He has always been the mother hen of the group. A nesting instinct.

You were acting not half as aggressive as you usually are and were totally neutered. You still are. You still trying for mod? lol

lol, yeah, the only problem with "You want free shit for black people because you think you owe them something, because you're a silly, weak minded hard left muppet. Got it." and "...and systematical...and quartzadupical....and skippadoodlyboo...and any other big empty words you want to use to hide the fact that you support insanity...Fuck off, dork." are that they don't reflect my position.

Otherwise, they're airtight arguments and reflect a clear attempt to understand and address the other person's words. Got it.

Damn, now you're breaking out the big guns with the nicknames (Failty) and talks of safe spaces.

And I wasn't particularly interested in discussing that thread topic, and I was especially uninterested in derailing it to talk about how you're an intellectual toddler. This is where we go for would-be derails and, frankly, where your posts should have been moved in the first place since they were not directed at the topic but rather at your delusions of the other side's motivations on issues of race and restorative justice.
What bothers me about arguing like that is we don't even get to the questions of what the range of outcomes could be. It's all immediately shoved into a referendum on race treason. It could be that it's a bad idea on its merits, causing higher foreclosure rates or more economic insecurity for the qualifying income group. But we'd never get to fleshing that out, never attract the attention of posters who might know a thing or two about it, because we can never get out of the gutter. If the very question of negative economic impact were to come up, it would immediately be asserted as a piece of evidence against such a policy, without even trying to answer the question. The cutting off at the knees would be preempted by the biting off at the ankles.

LOL, I somehow don't think I'd accept if it was offered again, and I somehow don't think it would be offered again. I believe that's a mutual position, especially under the new administration.

There wasn't any need to be aggressive. Not sure why you would think there would be, when a small brat is running at you, repeatedly knocking himself over.

Okay I decided to not talk about this one on facebook. But aren't people being hypocrites about the whole Little Mermaid white people are mad issue?

If a major black charecter were turned white there would be literal protests. How do people who would be fine with that not hypocrites if they think people are mad about the Little Mermaid character are horrible people.

I think grown men arguing about how racial identity is important to the sanctity of a fish lady character in a children's movie, is about as gay as it gets.

This post is just you playing the opposing team in the same game. Have fun I guess.

Yeah good idea not bringing that one to Facebook.

Every single post I've seen about that has either been by a bot or addresssed the issue of bot-manufactured outrage.

Which begs the question: when a real poster becomes indistinguishable from a bot, is that like a Turing test in reverse?
