Kylo is a generic darksider though, albeit a really powerful one. The Sith are on a whole different level since they derive their power from the original Sith and their magics and whatnot. Darth Bane's lineage is something wholly different than the rest of these guys.

Small difference, but I don't even consider Kylo a high tier character. Not even close to Vader on a power scale.

I agree, but she was way too powerful from the start. I'm biased though, I don't like the new movies very much, all the characters bore me and they killed Han solo off while making Luke this giant pussy who doesn't care about anything. I will admit the raging of a black storm trooper was cool though, unbelievable how much flack that caught.

People trying to apply historical accuracy to fantasy is retarded anyway.

"bUt iTs BAsEd On EuRopEaN MyThoLOGy"

If you can accept all kinds of dragons and centaurs and giants and shit, but a person of color gives you fits, I'm really not hearing that shit.

If your video game is "too historically accurate" for anything but white people, and I'm not taking a shit every 4 in game hours, then it's not accurate enough.
You know I don't entirely buy this argument. The fantastic details are the selling point so when we see a movie about dragons we just implicitly accept that its possible in that world. But if someone in a movie with dragons acts really unbelievably, like doing something out of character or just really stupid, then that can hurt our suspension of disbelief more than seeing a dragon or orc or what have you.

In the case of POC that can also apply. If its a vaguely medieval Europe fantasy and there is a black character they can stick out in a bad way. Doesn't mean you shouldn't include them but there should be an internally consistent logic as to why they are there. So if there is a black character among the main cast there should be black extras in the background signaling the diversity of the setting or if there aren't black extras there should be some explanation for the lone one being there, like him being some kind of foreigner who settled there. Many premodern societies were diverse, even their elites, but that should be communicated in some way.

But that said its almost certainly the case that a significant portion of people who complain about this sort of thing are hypersensitive to minority characters in traditionally white dominated genres for the wrong reasons.
I have no idea how prevalent this is, but a black friend of mine shared this asking (in sarcasm from him, but I don't know if others see it as seriously) if it was now racist to make redheads always be the blacks?

Is is actually a trend to make redheaded characters into black characters? Or just an example of large enough sample size, someone putting it together in a compilation like this makes the correlation seem much more prominent?
Now I'm seriously triggered. Redheads are one of the only types of white people that historically faced discrimination and still do today(more so in the UK than America) so its kind of annoying to see them consistently get replaced. Like I said, replace these basic blonde bitches first.

I think the reason it happens is that redheads tend to be less significant side characters like Hawkgirl or Jimmy Olsen and those are the safer roles to give to black people when compared to the more significant character like Superman or Wonder Woman. With the exception of Annie and Ariel none of those characters are the protagonist of their respective stories.

Yeah, EU Luke taking over the Jedi and becoming a badass force warlord is way better than that new shit. They let that man go without even breaching the topic of the Chu'unthor, I was pretty fucking heated about that.

Seriously, though, I grew up on my grandma’s White Zinfandel. So anything but that.

Oh, god.

I dislike Billy Joel's music more than maybe any popular music artist in history. It's Billy Joel and Pitbull.
