It would be a meaningless name then. Waiguoren = foreigner in Chinese.People already refer to you that way usually. It’s catchier than than current name.
Like a man. A real man. Professor @Limbo Pete , take note.
JDS or big Francis? I'm picking Francis by KO. JDS' best chance is if he can keep the distance and pick Francis apart for a decision.
JDS is going to submit him with his super legit BJJ black belt.Really? I don’t think Nggano has the tools to beat JDS outside of a clean shot in the first 2 rounds. Perhaps if he were a better wrestler, or if his conditioning were better. I think JDS is still good enough to survive this enough to a UD, maybe even a 5th round TKO.

LaoWai 老外 would be fine.
I'm really rooting for JDS but I think Francis has the power and timing to take him out within the first two rounds. If it goes past that I favor JDS.JDS or big Francis? I'm picking Francis by KO. JDS' best chance is if he can keep the distance and pick Francis apart for a decision.
That would be awesome actually. Why stand and bang when you have the grappling advantage? I figure you're half joking here but the HW division is so weak that its one of the few divisions where merely having a black belt does set you apart a bit. Kind of like LHW, look at how often Glover has skated by just by being a decent grappler.JDS is going to submit him with his super legit BJJ black belt.
Every character has a meaning.https://dictionary.hantrainerpro.com/chinese-english/translation-wai_external.htm
external, outer, besides, beyond, of a foreign country,
outside, above
Should be fine?

LaoWai works too. People would end up still going by Lao or Wai. I’ve heard the laowai version has been seen as derogatory so idk.
You've "heard" in real life or via online search? I didn't think you had any Chinese connections.LaoWai works too. People would end up still going by Lao or Wai. I’ve heard the laowai version has been seen as derogatory so idk.

That's pretty much exactly right. 10+ years ago it was a bit derogatory. Now it's more often a neutral term or a term of endearment. There's a generation gap there too, like older people would probably still see it as more negative. Like most words, manner of speech is also a factor.Someone in person just told me who is Chinese. Do you agree with this?
Edit- they said it use to be bad ten years ago but not now.
