People already refer to you that way usually. It’s catchier than than current name.
It would be a meaningless name then. Waiguoren = foreigner in Chinese.

LaoWai 老外 would be fine.

Like a man. A real man. Professor @Limbo Pete , take note.

JDS or big Francis? I'm picking Francis by KO. JDS' best chance is if he can keep the distance and pick Francis apart for a decision.

Really? I don’t think Nggano has the tools to beat JDS outside of a clean shot in the first 2 rounds. Perhaps if he were a better wrestler, or if his conditioning were better. I think JDS is still good enough to survive this enough to a UD, maybe even a 5th round TKO.

JDS is going to submit him with his super legit BJJ black belt.

I'm really rooting for JDS but I think Francis has the power and timing to take him out within the first two rounds. If it goes past that I favor JDS.

That would be awesome actually. Why stand and bang when you have the grappling advantage? I figure you're half joking here but the HW division is so weak that its one of the few divisions where merely having a black belt does set you apart a bit. Kind of like LHW, look at how often Glover has skated by just by being a decent grappler.

external, outer, besides, beyond, of a foreign country,
outside, above

Should be fine?
Every character has a meaning.

Yeah, so I said meaningless, which I suppose is not technically correct.

That character has a meaning by itself. It's just not the same meaning as his screen name.

Laowai would maintain the same meaning and is shorter and probably easier for people here to remember.

Maybe not, but his timing and movement are good enough to avoid getting tagged early. Honestly, I haven’t seen much from Nggano to suggest that he’s improved since his last couple losses. At least he punches like a Honda Civic collision.

Just saw that Trump thought Western Liberalism meant California Democrats lol

LaoWai works too. People would end up still going by Lao or Wai. I’ve heard the laowai version has been seen as derogatory so idk.

There also is the option of Waigel. I think that would be a nice abbreviation and it also is the name of a former German politician famous for his incredibly long eyebrows.

You've "heard" in real life or via online search? I didn't think you had any Chinese connections.

Someone in person just told me who is Chinese. Do you agree with this?

Edit- they said it use to be bad ten years ago but not now.

That's pretty much exactly right. 10+ years ago it was a bit derogatory. Now it's more often a neutral term or a term of endearment. There's a generation gap there too, like older people would probably still see it as more negative. Like most words, manner of speech is also a factor.

They agreed. I had no idea your name was even a Chinese word.
