i disagree with a lot of those people being fine, but in particular i can't think of many people as poisonous as glenn greenwald.
What is your specific issue with Greenwald? I think his work on government surveillance alone is worth saluting. I consider him a strong ally in the fight against the military industrial complex and sloppy thinking in general. He's a true non-partisan as far as I can tell, and that's a very scarce type of person these days.

i also notice all of those people have something in common.
What's that?

my issue with him is he is a self centered, moralistic asshole who has the luxury of pretending both sides are the same.

I think this is demonstrably wrong. If I spent 10 minutes, I think I could probably find a quotation of Greenwald saying explicitly that both sides are not the same (the Republicans are much worse).

The other stuff is really too subjective to respond to ("self-centered", "moralistic asshole").

You wrote that all the progressives I listed have something in common. What were you referring to?

i believe they are all the same race and gender. correct me if i am wrong.

i just find it curious how "progressives" are almost as homogeneous as conservatives.
Just realized I forgot about Dore. No way he's Jewish.

Also, I don't find self-identified progressives to be a very homogeneous group at all compared to other political self-identifications. I'd wager Jews are <15% of that group, so it's weird to see you focus on that.

Aren't you a self-identified "progressive" too?

well, i'd focus less on the jewish and more on the white and the gender. it doesn't really matter to me. and i am speaking almost specifically about bernie supporters. i just find it ironic how they are the ones who go on about diversity being a strength and yet...

as for me being a progressive i would say i have progressive ideology but would more or less define myself as a democrat, and strongly against populism.

I feel for you. Partisan affiliation is a poison.

If I believed in single-payer health insurance and tuition-free college. I would definitely be on the Sanders train. The guy has been consistent on these and other "progressive" issues for decades. Everyone else is trying to catch up to him.

i dont know if that is like a shot at democrats but we have won the popular vote like what five out of the last six times? and are coming off a two term president. don't hate.

I want to know just where the hell people are getting the impression that Warren is stiff or shrill or any of that. Must be misogyny, because Warren is far and away the best speaker in the race. People are gonna find that out in a few days. That article stunk.

To be clear, that was a conservative article (Nat Review), a satire article (McSweeney's), and a Twitter account that seems to be trolling (responding to all the people throttling him with "weak," "lame," etc.).

To be clearer, that argument (Warren = Clinton) will definitely be said by some, mostly on the right: the "I honestly voted for Obama" crowd especially. But I don't think it will gain meaningful traction in the Sanders movement, as there just isn't a factual basis to sustain it.

And we should all agree that Glenn Greenwald is a self-aggrandizing worm person. Also, Dore is dumb and Kyle K is insufferable. Chomsky is obviously bae.

I love you. I have no hate for anyone.

I am concerned for anyone who identifies with a political tribe as you do. Tribalism destroys critical thinking ability, which is key to a high-quality life. Lots of positive externalities too.

i would say most everyone aligns with a political party, even if they dont admit is. i wouldn't ever say no matter what i am voting democrat. if the the republican party starting pushing policies that addressed the things i care about then i would vote that way. i describe myself as a democrat because i think it places me on a political spectrum simply.

Definitely not true in my own case, nor in the case of many of my friends. Also note that non-voters are the largest bloc, and I imagine ~50% of them have no particular political affiliation.

Quoting for upcoming hilarious bump very soon.
