This is the one instance where working as a bouncer doesn't seem so bad. It's $13 an hour but we get tipped out and a chunk of bar profits too... like... 2% but it's still something.
Yeah, I bounced for a year in college and we split like 20% of the bar on top of our wage.

lol did you at least try to negotiate your pay?

"I currently get paid $13.00. I want $50.00, which is one-third my billed rate."
"Hmmmm, $13.50."

Nah, i kneecapped him by going independent lol. Once I saw how much gold was there, I had to get my hands in the pot. Did that for about a year until I realized I hate going to peoples houses and went corporate.

That's nuts. I get why a car mechanic the billing rate is typically double (or more) the laborour rate due to the overhead of tools and lifts and other equipment.

For pc repair tho, what is it beyond the dude at the keyboard working? Maybe a few pieces of diagnosis and malware removal software and some external hard drives to send the temporary backups to if a person wants to make sure all their files are safe (if they can be accessed)

I had a degree too, so he sent me on all the troublesome jobs. Network configuration, enterprise level support, server admin, the whole 9 yards. He cut a lot of deals with individual people, but he hated that I would fix their shit and never return. Returning customers was his whole business model.

I just grabbed a Lenovo Legion last week actually. Never had a gaming laptop before. It was not $150.

I have to say I don't really "get" Fortnite. I played video games all through my childhood and am highly susceptible to addiction, but this game doesn't grab me. Maybe you're supposed to play with a group or something.

The upcoming anniversary Halo release may be a problem.

I hated doing house calls. I made people drop their shit off at my house and just reformatted and gave it back when I felt like it.

Games like Fortnite, PUBG, and Apex are 100% better when played with people you know.

Similar to Rainbow Six Siege... playing solo is a pain in the ass but you can lose 20 times in a row with a group of friends and still enjoy the game.

Which Halo is your favorite? Halo CE here.

The one thing ADHD has ever done for me is prevent me from ever being able to get addicted to any video game. Porn is so much more engaging.

Oh man I'm the total opposite. Put an engaging game with sufficient attention to detail in front of me and I turn into a meth addict. Fortunately gaming is sufficiently different now compared to when I was young that I'm not really drawn to it except for nostalgic reasons.

Ah, I've tried a few others but stopped playing habitually at 2. That said, Halo 2 took up a significant fraction of my time in those years. I even lined up with the other nerds overnight to buy it.

Hang 'Em High is the GOAT map though.

Truth hurts. Read material from the time period, not what the government wants you to think.

what's your recommendation?

Good man. That map is the shit, I also like Prisoner and Chillout a lot too from CE.

Halo 2 had lockout, another contender for GOAT map imo.

LOL I had to search to find out what that is. Having checked, you have it backwards; that term would apply to my admirers, not me. How about Hugo Wang instead?

Hmm, Thai Knee Dong?

OMG, that's it

Thai Knee Dong

Find memoirs from people who were involved. Most are available on line. Look up newspaper articles and debates or letters written by people during the war and the years leading up to it.

I don’t have specific links right now. If you are interested, pm and I’ll get you some.

So, I'm clerking a Dependency trial... mother of the dependent has said, multiple times while being direct examined by the State has said she doesn't want to be on TANIF...

I'm so confused, isn't that what allows families that don't have the financial means to, well, eat? Why would someone NOT want to be on TANIF especially if they don't have a job and also aren't collecting on Social Security or other EBT/Welfare type things.....
