Cool beans. Whatever floats your boat. To circle back to my earlier, music themed, lounge contribution, were you old enough to appreciate this song?

I wasn't even born yet. That came out in 88, I was born in 1990.

Fun fact, Tonni is also a 1990.

My bad, please forgive me.

No, no, no. The original bring the noise, as recorded by Public Enemy came out in '88. The immortal classic done by PE and Anthrax come out when you were 1.
I think that song started me down the road that led to my appreciation of Me First and the Gimme Gimmes much later in life.

I was born in 87, but my favorite bands growing up were the Beatles and Queen, so I always had an "older is better" mentality.

Although I did like MC Hammer at a young age because he did the soundtrack to the Addams Family movie.

It's directly responsible for sending me head first into the New York Hard Core scene. The album it was on is Attack of the killer B's, a collection of B sides and covers. It included a couple of songs originally recorded by S.O.D. a side project of guitarist Scott Ian. The transition from hair metal was over and the rest is history.

And this song

I always really liked their cover tracks

Raining on Prom Night, or Hello have got to be my favourites. Well, Boxer is up there too.

There's something about listening to oldies with some stank added. Probably my fave cover is Hetfield playing Waylon Jennings. The energy and his vocals suit that song as well as Cashs cover of Hurt. But I don't wanna derail this into a music thread again. o_O Or tonni will scold me. Lol
