If Europe is going to allow outsiders in, then they have a responsibility to the newcomers to set them up for success. That success doesn't come about if you marginalize them or stuff them into ghettos where they feel as "others" and have no stake in the game.

What a weird thing to say. I can understand poking fun at an adult who still eats pop tarts since its a kid's food(like bacon) but to specifically call out cherry pop tarts? Odd.

All good. I didn't think you were all that serious or had Ill intent. Can't be adversarial all the time, after all.

The gotcha is the old 'are we talking about Muslims or Islam' deal. I couldn't figure out a convincing way to craft a bothsideism post based on a religion without an opposite, so focused on it's membership.

Eh, he said the same about me, but pop tarts are firmly in my large category, "things from the US that are very bad".

Well you do that all the time actually, say you're talking about Islam when any reasonable person sees that you're referring to Muslims as people like with that invasive species comment.

If by all the time you mean never, then yeah.

I've called Islam an invasive species. Muslims come in all sizes, shapes, colours and races, so how can something that's already a native be invasive? This criteria applies to Africa and the new world as well where missionaries converted much of the population to the detriment of old faith systems.

And for shits n giggles let's walk down memory lane. Remember how you tried to shit on my place of birth and subsequently apologized? Remember how I let it lie afterwards? Along the same vein, remember when I told you I wouldn't use invasive species as a description of Islam out of respect for you? And I haven't since, yet you keep bringing it up along with changing the wording and meaning. Fun times.
