How do you guys feel about sheriff's that refuse to enforce mask laws?

It really gets my goat because when I would have conversations with LEOs (including sherrifs I did BJJ with) they always hit me with the "I don't like arresting people for marijuana possession but the last is the law"

My opinion is this-if it is codified and passed in the criminal code, then yes, it is more likely to be enforced. If it were up to me, and I am retired now, but I would enforce private businesses wanting people to leave-I would enforce that aspect of it, but I would not arrest someone for refusing to wear one. The people that are not wearing them are more likely to be passionate about not wearing one snd it’s just not worth having to use force on someone. Same with a curfew. It would not be something high on my list.
