The guy who posted a link to cartoons of baby rape accused someone else of being a :eek::eek::eek:? I guess that’s just his sense of humor...
Any particular reason a person who does that would still have an account here?

Soup is just wet food, I have no real need or love for it. Miso or ramen is good though.

Idk I wasn’t too happy I clicked the link. There was Pepe’s raping infant frogs or pepes or whatever. It was presumably posted to be defense for his totenkopf source

it was actually really graphic and disgusting

We picked up a bunch of Kimchi instant ramen and it's pretty much crack to me. I could have eaten all at once. Sometimes I even add some tofu in there.

Good question. Same with a guy who’s made rapey comments towards a female poster here and got dubbed for it.

Now we got some blaming Libertarians for Trump losing

https://nationalinterest.org/blog/reboot/real-reason-donald-trump-lost-election-libertarians-172489

As Biden moved ahead in the battleground states, conservatives on Facebook and Twitter–including former Wisconsin governor Scott Walker–were complaining that libertarians cost Trump the election because Libertarian nominee Jo Jorgensen was getting more votes than the margin between Trump and Biden in closely divided states.

He is. Joe Biden saying "I wouldn't call Mubarak a dictator" was bad but seeing Trump actually say "Where's my favorite dictator?" in reference to Sisi was just taking it to a whole other level.

The popularity of El-Sisi is what is most alarming given that he's stooge. Similar to Putin, really, it shows the ease with which a dictator can rule without being even remotely competent, ethical, or effective as an advocate for the people. Humans seem to have an inherent submissiveness kink.

Is Sisi popular?

Pelosi nominated as speaker of the house today

Is Sisi popular?

It seems so, yes. I think his approval is estimated at about 60% currently. His first couple years in office, it was around 80%.

He's hitting all the notes of social conservatism that might be presented by a theocratic regime (which, increasingly, seems to be want people most want) without any of the social democratic reforms to their neoliberal economy.

I don't know wtf progressives have to do to get the ropes on congressional leadership. Progressive House Dems (who, yes, do tend to come from more safely blue districts) cleaned up in 2020 while moderate Dems were slaughtered.

The idea that no message is a better campaign strategy than a potentially alienating message is so silly to me.
