Like. I found it pretty infuriating to hear how that story had been manipulated to cast her in a bad light. Her burns were terrible and their original request was only to recover the cost of medical bills. That situation was very enlightening and made me a lot more wary of such anecdotes also.

That's one of the most widely misunderstood famous cases ever. I'm old enough to remember this, McDonald's fed into that public misperception. There weren't previously big "CAUTION:COFFEE IS HOT!" warnings on the cups. They wanted to make it look like some dumbass didn't understand the gravity of a hot beverage and it was some travesty of justice. Pretty insidious corporate behavior, and it worked.

She's only been back as Speaker for 2 years and when she got elected she promised not to go past 2022. After the bad results in this election and the current in fighting I thought it was going to happen sooner rather than later anyway.

But this just an absolutely horrible look with the current trajectory of the virus in the US.

but hey, those pesky rules only apply to us peasants. Washington politicians are free to have 100 person indoor dining events.
