Thoroughly Besmirched, Humiliated by Communist Dominance, Sherdog Conservatives Cry "Foul!"
Sometimes life imitates art, and other times politically tinged fantasy sports imitates Republican bellyaching.
Enter the Sherdog War Room Fantasy Football League (or the SWRFFL as fans call it).
After ten weeks of being roundly bested and embarrassed by the Communist Division, it appears that the Conservatives have had enough. Following the conclusion of yet another week in which the Communist Division has proven the gold standard of the fantasy football world, the Conservatives have launched a grassroots campaign of unfounded fraud allegations to attempt to reverse two recent Communist wins.
This past week, The Proletarians and the Sick Odors of the Communist Division defeated The Real Americans and the Punt Destroyers of the Liberal Division. This capped another week of Communist dominance in what spectators are calling "The Red Wave."
To date, the Communists retain not only the best division record in the league and a whopping 372 more points scored than the hapless Conservatives: they now host 2 of the league's top 3 teams in overall standings. That includes the league's dominant record leader the KPT018's led by famed manager @kpt018. Surely, what KPT018 lacks in team name creativity, he makes up for in fantasy football prowess.
Frustrated by their impotence, Conservative team managers @MMAisGod and @Broke Lester have begun trying to lobby fellow conservative and notoriously corrupt league commissioner @HockeyBjj to overturn the week's results based on unfounded allegations of fraud between The Proletarians and the Sick Odors.
The allegations stem from a Week 10 trade between the two communist comrades in which quarterback Josh Allen was swapped for wide receiver Amari Cooper. With each communist manager shrewdly realizing their team's needs, the trade resulted in definitive communist wins. Following the wins, The Proletarians and Sick Odors reevaluated their rosters and, feeling that their teams now had new lineups needs, swapped back the players. This innocuous act - a mutually beneficial trade following a previous mutually beneficial trade - was immediately criticized by the conservatives and met with fiery, weepy condemnation.
Slandered Communist Division owners Trotsky is quoted as saying, via his Twitter account, "The WHINY conservatives can never beat the communists FAIRLY, so they have to resort to these unprecedented and dangerous accusations of foul play. These sorts of allegations taint and disrupt years of norms and traditions in the fantasy football process. Sad!"
To the credit of the Liberal Division, their integrity still intact, the two affected Liberal Division owners, @Highmanproblems and @CubicleGangster, have been reticent in taking up the conservatives' offer to reverse the results. Nevertheless, the conservatives continue trying to forge an unholy alliance toward altering league results and staging a right-wing coup fitting only of orange windbags with orangutan titties.
