Sundance is the absolute fucking worst channel out there.
Another excellent Native food: pit roasted camas bulbs. I also had some corn done this way once and it was super fuckin delicious.

Do you guys even know how to earth oven anymore?
Don't you want to watch a deep movie of a guy moving to a new city meeting new friends and they just talk about life and relationships?I havent even clicked on that channel in a lot of years but looks like business as usual for the programmers
Legit lol almost woke my son sleeping next to me. Hasnt changed a bit. Guess ratings are not a big thing there.Don't you want to watch a deep movie of a guy moving to a new city meeting new friends and they just talk about life and relationships?
Sleep well my new friendI gotta get some sleep. Got a new born that's up every few hours but will regret this when my two oldest ones are up at 7...
Cheers brotha. Chat tomorrow.Sleep well my new friend
If I could afford one right now I would as a house warming gift.
Also, @Da Speeit pretty sure I did Earlier this year but if I didn’t, congrats on the kid.
Amen, brother. If there is some long established number of people who eat a certain food--except if there are legit safety concerns--I'll try it at least once. Most of the time it's excellent. Variety is the spice of life. I'm so lucky here, it's remarkable. My wife is an excellent cook but to boot we have many excellent places to eat with a wide range of ethnicities represented authentically even though Charlottetown is a pretty small place. But I like trying new things when I travel. I have had Duck head bill and all, stinky tofu, duck tongue and chicken feet in Taiwan, horse meat, raw shrimp, whale, and whole fish guts and all in Japan, raw ground beef with raw egg on top in Paris, fried worms, crickets and larvae in Mexico and the list goes on. If you don't try it then you never know. Some of the best Steak I've had was in Japan, South Africa and Argentina. African game in SA was outstanding. Germany also had some nice steaks. In Dominican Republic we passed a guy cutting up a whole pig he roasted and some of the best pork you've ever had. DR also had some of the best whole fish I've ever eaten. Small roadside eatery for rice beans and eggs in Nicaragua was phenomenal. People who say their country only has good food have never really traveled imo.
Yeah, you might be right. I'm not sure my palate is sophisticated enough to handle the extreme demands placed on it by cheese stuffed crusts and crunch wrap supremes.
Better than sashimi? Hook me up, man. Do you have any 90 year old Native lady friends or relatives in BC?Seriously guys you haven't had good salmon until a 90 year old Native lady pin roasts it around a fire pit
I guess you haven’t had authentic Hawaiian food.
edit: I do love Cajun and bbq as well, though. I’d also add Tex-Mex and I’m sure there’s some other good regional cuisines.
I think the convo has probably moved beyond this by now but I was inclined to agree with Pete. We're talking food classification, not politics.I'm not sure I consider it "American" though. I give that one just to Hawaiians.
Can you translate that into old person for me?Tfti....
