WAR ROOM LOUNGE V15: Lunge

Seriously though, I would like to know if there is a correlation between the two basic parties and the amount of reports made by posters of each side.

Hear me out...what if the reason why liberal posters report more often is (gasp) right wing posters are more likely to blatantly infract the rules?

If @HomerThompson was as blatant as worldofwarcraft, Bloodworth, et al., he would have been booted out long ago. He's gotten dubs fair and square, so you can't say that he's protected by mods.

youre talking to the wall, he mad cos he got dubs from homer, so decided to come in here and whine about it

Yep, it was a measured comment. The history of American Christian slavery apology is quite astonishing.
Hence why I worship Thor and Odin. At least they're upfront about that shit and you don't have that pesky thing of "shit being written down" with it.

Yeah all that Viking stuff is frankly a little too homoerotic for my tastes

I'd be interested in seeing these numbers.
Also, I'd like your opinion on the biggest left wing trolls, past or present, in the WR. We probably have different standards
What makes a troll? Someone with extreme views? I don’t know what a war room troll looks like tbh. I know what a troll in the OT is. Really though, who cares if someone trolls? If you don’t like what they say, skip their posts. These are just words on a message board. It kills me how serious this is to do many people. Serious enough that they get mad in real life. They actually notify people about words typed by strangers.

Trolls are entertaining to me. They are to be laughed at, not taken seriously. If Im having a serious discussion and doing me asshat chimes in, I don’t get pissed. I either ignore them or give them a stupid reply. But the idea that I get so rattled that I have to notify a mod or complain to the management over words typed by strangers here is beyond my comprehension.

Now, if a mod see something’s by that they think is inappropriate and they take action, fine. But the idea that I’m so upset that I feel the need to call them is sad.

I've been back 3 weeks and 2 days, I wonder how many times I've been reported.

I'm sure you are one of the most reported people per post. I think it's natural to be curious of how often a person is reported.

Again, being a dick to people isn't necessarily trolling. I don't exaggerate my beliefs for impact, or play a character.
The hot dog gifs is the only time I can really remember reporting someone cause it's just empty posting.

Oh yeah, I reported someone else for constantly dropping the 3 letter version of Japanese in a thread because:
"Well, if we're going to censor other racial slurs... this was used as a racial slur for fucking years...."

I'd say the WR by nature deals with harsher racism stuff. I think that is probably the majority of bans in the WR. I could be wrong though.

It's also how you react to moderation.
If Homer had chucked a Kone and whinged about political bias and that I was the only one that had infracted him (although, unlike with Kone, in Homer's case that was actually true, and still almost is). Boasted about being untouchable after an admin took pity on his endless whinging and reversed the infraction. Continued with exactly the same behaviour and then gone on to stir up a bunch of like minded whingers...
He'd probably be on his third or fourth account by now.

This is a dodge, but whatever.
You having a problem with right wing posters being banned is unrelated to any discussion of bias in enforcement.

I get along with Home for the most part but I frankly thought he should have been on at least a single yellow for the like 4 month period where he was obsessed with the hot dog gif.

And @Rational Poster should be required to drop a dime into my bank account every time he uses that Emilia Clarke gif as it has made me want to see her killed in GoT even more than I already did.

Scale of 1-10, how bored are you? lol

It's a good point though. It's like abortion. If people truly believe there is a genocide of babies or a genocide of whitey, they should be taking up arms and doing very drastic things to stop it. They haven't even put a White Power measure on the ballot for the November election- how serious could they really be?

K1's posts were perfectly topical and valid. Them getting banned was a perfect example of the forced both sidesism and false equivalence of the right/left.
