One Wrestler I feel that doesn't get enough love as he should is "Bret the Hitman Heart."

He should be up there with Hulk Hogan, Macho Man, Andre the Giant, the Rock, Stone Cold as being one of the super super stars of WWE.

Isn't that a pretty widely held view? Maybe a rung down from those guys in terms of fame and then a rung down from guys like Misawa, Michael, Benoit, Billington, Kawada, Liger, and Guerrero in terms of quality. Put it together, and I think he rivals Flair and Michaels as the best American main-eventer ever.

I don't know why I keep doing this to myself.

So I sat through another terrible, "found footage" film.

Just god awful.

Hell House LLC.

the premise is just fucking stupid, predictable...

I can't remember the last good found footage film I have seen.

Lake Mungo?

the Last exorcism?
For some reason, I liked Blair Witch when it came out. It was a one time thing though. Cannibal Holocaust was kind of interesting because of some of the direction and the score. That's about it for me.

Hmm...Shawn Michaels...forgot on him.

I remember following him since the day of the Rockers.
he was a great showman...great performer.

Were you pissed or pumped when he put Marty through the glass? I hated him for that lol.

I think Hart is held up with guys like Hogan and Flair by purists that don't buy into the "Bret screwed Bret" shit that Vince peddled for like 2 fucking decades.

The list goes like this for me:
Rock
SCSA
Michaels
Foley (all versions)
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
HHH, Hart, Savage, Hogan, Flair

I admit part of that feeling is cause I grew up watching Rock take a chair to Mankind's head like 27 times in an I Quit match and remember the Rock/SCSA Wrestlemania matches during my childhood.

Know what's crazy even now? The dude was never a bad guy again when he came back from the back/neck injury... he was a hardcore face essentially...

He was only ever a heel in Montreal and TO THIS DAY he still gets boo'd and dirty looks up there for the Screwjob.

pissed...

it always breaks my heart when former teammates go at it.

LIke when Strike Force broke up. (tito Santana and Rick martel).

this is why I'm boycotting Cody G vs. TJ Dillishaw.

Can't watch former teammates fight. :(

Michaels was the GOAT at getting great matches out of otherwise mediocre to worthless stiffs (Hall, Undertaker, Nash, and more).

Foley is top tier.

I still do the Cactus Jack finger guns "bang bang" thing at the bar and anyone over like 24 think it's a fucking riot and we get more tips.

I saw Foley live in an indy show when I was like 12. He took a wicked chair shot literally right in front of me. I was legit worried, and was looking down at him (John Rambo had walked back to the ring after delivering the shot). He looked up at me and smiled, and then went back to selling it.

Angle would be in that group with HHH for me at least. I get he was at the top for awhile but from my perspective I will look up old Rock, SCSA, HBK, and Foley matches.

Other than that KOTR match against Shane I won't go back and watch old Angle matches from the late 90s/early 2000s

I feel so bad for Foley. Guy legit has trouble getting out of bed and can't tie his own shows now cause his hands shake/the arthritis apparently.

He literally sacrificed his body and mind for his career.

Hall and Nash weren't worthless stiffs. They might have been post WCW run cause Nash had had like 100 ACL injuries by then and Hall was so strung out on pills and booze that he was useless as a human in general but those dude's could put on a damn good match when they were younger.

I think it's unfair to compare young HBK to Hall and Nash. It's like saying Bart Starr is a shitty QB compared to Aaron Rodgers.

Yeah, Godgers can do some ridiculous shit even compared to people in his own era but the game has changed a ton since Starr's time. You compare Hall and Nash as examples to OTHER guys working when they were at the top (late 80s early 90s)... they're far and away better than almost everyone.

Undertaker was a great worker when he was young, brother.
