They all have the exact same talking points too. “Well we are here ready to work”. No, you have no leverage and you all rubbed it in republicans faces when they were too weak to shutdown the government after attacking them nonstop about how it would be the worst thing for the country.

These people are the biggest hypocrites ever and it is clear to anyone paying the littlest bit of attention. That is why republicans approval is actually improving




It is also indicative that any wannabe “journalists”, like tapper who want to stay at least somewhat relevant can no longer just be propagandists for the democrat party. Social media is too powerful to create highlights of people like tapper kowtowing about Biden, only to then desperately come of it with a book.

Biden and the dems negotiated with the republicans, and agreed to some of the republican demands--namely not funding some dem programs, and extending budget decisions until this year.

Exactly. Why is this not happening? I am not aware of any democrat proposal to do this. I'm not aware of any Republican proposal to do this.

Because we need 60 votes in the senate to open the government. If all it took was Senate Republicans to vote for the clean CR, the government would never have shut down in the first place.
