We'll discuss the schedule for the tournament further once the finalists are set, but here's the upcoming schedule for possible events:

June 17: UFN 111 - Holm vs Corriea
June 24-25: Bellator 180 - Sonnen vs. Silva / UFN 112 Chiesa vs. Lee
July 7-8: TUF 25 Finale / UFC 213 - Nunes vs. Shevchenko
July 16: UFN 113 - Nelson vs. Ponzinibbio
July 22: UFC on Fox 25 - Weidman vs. Gastelum
July 29: UFC 214 - Cormier vs. Jones 2

I'm not including this weekend's Lewis vs. Hunt card because there's not enough time between the end of voting for this round and the start of the event.

The plan was for the finals to be TUF 25 Finale / UFC 213, but since we're doing an 8-man tournament, that would be 3 events in 4 weeks, which might be too much for those with lives outside of Sherdog. If it looks like you might be headed to the tournaments, start thinking about which dates you would prefer.

Since each tournament will be at least 3 rounds, it could take up to a year just to crown the 5 champs, depending on how quick the turnaround is between tournaments. Once the initial round of tournaments is done, it should move faster. I won't really have an answer for your question until I see how this all starts to flow. Of course, if a champ wants to defend at any time, all they'll have to do is let me know and I'll set something up.
