tbf, if we're commenting on the 'lower' method he beat 'higher' fighters like Emmett and Ige by, then the 'higher' method of beating a 'lower' fighter is an apt comparison.

Having said that, beating a #8 Emmett was still his strongest win, and a pretty strong one at that(should have been 49-46). And it's an obviously better win, even on it's own, than Diego's over Silva. Should still be Evloev, but people will bitch about his activity, I'm sure.

If Murphy got the title shot I wouldnt have a problem with it, its the fact that people act like his record is some undeniable resume on par with Arman's, Shavkat's, or Evloev's.

Dana and Hunter love Lopes, because he is a very sweet guy, humble down to earth and carries himself well but make no mistake Lopes is one of the best talents in the UFC, he is a great fighter taking nothing away from him and heck even I am a big fan of Diego Lopes. He is the good-good guy type in real life.

He is just an overall likable guy and I believe this is why Dana and Hunter love him as a person.

This is kinda of unprofessional and they should select on merit not based on personal relations or vibes and come on I love Diego Lopes but they should do it based on merit and I am rooting for D.Lopes to win the belt at UFC 325

Evloev beat Lopes who had five days notice, and the Sterling fight was very close. Murphy deserves it more.

Jean Silva beat a ranked Bryce Mitchell & was 5-0 in the UFC with 5 finishes. Aaron Pico was 0-0 in the ufc with his best win being Henry Corales, a borderline top-50 FW.

If you can't discern the difference in top-15 vs top-50, and/or 5-0 vs 0-0, that's an intelligence issue on your behalf.

I think it's more about being undefeated and a fresh match up. I'd rather see Volk vs Evloev but between the Lopes rematch and Murphy, id rather see a new fight

I agree. Volk vs Evloev, & Lopes vs Murphy on the same card in case Evloev pulls out for the 6th time. Aljo vs Zelal would also make sense with Yair being our for the first half of 2026(waited for 6 months to get surgery on his hand lol).

That is definitely the case. There are few people dana likes and he makes sure they get free TS but that shouldn´t be the case. Example of people Dana liked Mike Chandler, Urijah Faber, Liddell, Max Holloway, Diego Lopes, DC, Matt Serra and Dustin Porirer.

And he hated guys like Big Country, Tito, GSP, Ngannou, Wanderlei Silva, Randi Couture and Cyborg
