If you say Max is a bigger win than all of Aldo's wins combined, then you're using "all time-great wins" in the wrong context.

It just sounds like recency bias.

Mendes was a bigger win than Max was, at the time.

Which one is FW GOAT is very close, I just want to point out that saying "Max is a bigger win than all of Aldo's combined" is way off.

Acting like beating the same guy 3x is more impressive than beating prime Edgar and Mendes 2x is just pure non sense.

And then we have Faber, MTB, Florian etc etc etc

While Volk was beating Ortega coming off an injury with an insane 1 fight win streak, just like 35yo TKZ.

I mean, duh? Even with steroids, that's a hard thing to do. It's probably alot to do with his inactivity and choosing his opponents carefully upon his return here. He knows the body can only take so much. So he left lhw, came back years later and beat gane and brought stipe out of retirement. Even still, gane is a tough skilled big man, and miocic even tho old and past his prime, experienced and dangerous. Jones is absolutely the goat

You can definarly argue that he is. But to say undisputed is ridiculous .

Reading the list like that, Holloway and Aldo are the really good ones.

Ortega and Yair are tough but the jury is still out and I'm not sure where Mendes was when he fought Volk. He had been out years, came back and split a W and L and bounced (left too soon at 31 years old, imo).

Aldo had prime Mendes, Edgar, KZ, Faber, Brown, Cub. The Vera and Buatista decisions are pretty debatable.

Outside of that, Aldo's losses are all champions save the very early loss.

Volk has the better record numbers but Aldo's still has more substance.

Aldo has lost more than Volk, too, so that also needs to be factored in.

It's pretty close.

Aldo has been fighting wayy longer than Volk as well.
