But from what i understand there is a biological lab in Wuhan that deals with infectious diseases like SARS, etc. maybe some idiot from the lab got some Spanish Flu level disease on him and accidentally spread it to the general population there.

From the death toll to infect count, a 2% mortality, while not even close to ELE levels, is still a major pandemic waiting to happen.

First case in Canada

Canada has confirmed its first "presumptive" case of the deadly coronavirus in Toronto as the number of infections worldwide surpasses 1,400 cases. Public health officials announced Saturday afternoon the confirmed case — a man in his 50s who had travelled to Wuhan, China — was found at Toronto's Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.

The man flew from Wuhan to Guangzhou, then from Guangzhou to Toronto, arriving on Jan. 22. Upon arriving, he said he felt ill and 911 was contacted. Paramedics were fully protected when they picked him up, and he was taken to Sunnybrook on Jan. 23, said Dr. David Williams, the province's chief medical officer of health.

Vast majority of deaths are members of the elderly and those with pre-existing conditions. The outbreak may saved the Communist government a whole lot of spending down the road. That's pension and medical expense obligations the government no longer has to support.

That is just a mindboggling number . It's like the plot from a made-for-tv movie, with the authorities sealing off entire regions.

So the numbers out of China have me thinking and maybe someone with more free time could work this out.

How does 50 million people under quarantine have 2000 confirmed cases yet there are at least 50 confirmed cases in people who’ve left the country since this all started? I guess you’d need to know the number of people who’ve left China since and you could work your way back but from that to figure out if the official total is real or not.

Based on the ratio and bad math, 1.25mm would had to have left since the start. Yes I’m aware we have no clue the number of possible exposed.
