Yeah thats what I am getting at.. I heard that China already has a women to Men ratio problem in that they have a shortage of women!!!

I actually asked about this at work?

I asked if there is any screening of the parts we receive coming in from China.

Everyone laughed. I looked at them like they are all fucking crazy, and said, "I'm not joking".

It got quiet, and management didn't answer my question.

They do have a shortage of women in China due to the previous one-child policy. Everyone wanted boys so baby girls didn't fare so well back in the day.

i heard from Chinese sources that China is having an issue of foreign women looking for Chinese men.

in terms of infected yes.

right now the death toll from SARS was about 800.

regarding Coronavirus it's about 165 thus far. (assuming the #s reported by the Chinese Gov are legit)

but what from everyone is saying it's going to get worse.

Had Sweden not detected radiation in the air and basically told Russia after Russia denied anything had happened that they were going to file an alert with the IAEA, who knows what Russia would have tried to pull off in order to hide the extent of what actually happened and the resulting death toll.

China has that same level of national pride Russia had, and will do what they have to, to save face internationally.

This sort of attitude is the norm in all authoritairan countries, monarchies that control nations and any country where there is no real free press or leaderships with term limits.

If you see the markets where Chinese people trade their meat, you won't be surprised at why viruses like SARS and avian flu keep showing up. Open air, 0 refrigeration all day, butchering in the open - blood and guts going everywhere on the pavement where people walk, flies on everything, no sanitation of any kind, etc.

A lot of flights from China to the US have been canceled. My wife's friend was going to fly out of Shanghai to come visit us, but the flight was canceled.
