Same thing even in the NW. We get a good spell of dry weather and when the first rain rolls around many act as if it's their first time driving in the conditions. We have a sprinkling of rain in California and everyone drives like a spazz
People posting on local Facebook groups to beware of the icy roads when it only hit -1C. It hadn't rained in weeks so where is the ice going to come from?!Same thing even in the NW. Lol , I remember my father taking me in a Mark 2 Ford Escort to a nearby empty car park about 45 years ago and basically letting rip and skidding it around like a lunatic.
Mind you he did race cars in his spare time and always had a natural affinity to cars and engines
Same, I let my son drive in an old little ragged Toyota Tacoma we had when it iced over years ago. No traffic where we lived and we could drift around the corners at break neck slow speeds. LolI do this with my kids every time we get a good snowfall, then my wife tried to ban me from doing it because it was "unsafe & irresponsible".
Kids & I over-ruled her though, it's just too much fun and the worst that's ever happened is I got the car stuck in a snowbank.
If this so called lite Canadian winter came with your giant whitetail, I'll take it.
we got a couple of inches here in Katy TXToday Southern Louisiana looks a little different. I've never seen this much snow down here in my 51 years. For some of you it's normal, but this happening down here is crazy.

ice can form on over passes and roads not directly connected to the ground.People posting on local Facebook groups to beware of the icy roads when it only hit -1C. It hadn't rained in weeks so where is the ice going to come from?!
No overpasses here whatsoever. Point is, desert folk freak out over nothing. I don't think Ridgecrest has ever experienced ice.ice can form on over passes and roads not directly connected to the ground.
not sure if your area is prone to morning dew, believe that can cause icy conditions too - be safe!No overpasses here whatsoever. Point is, desert folk freak out over nothing. I don't think Ridgecrest has ever experienced ice.
It’s some light snow you guys had ! Here in northern Quebec it’s already 5 x worseIf this so called lite Canadian winter came with your giant whitetail, I'll take it.
