Vadim Nemkov pay vs Glover pay

The thread is a bit disingenuous.

1) Nemkov got a once off $1 million payment for the tourney. That's not his standard pay.

2) UFC LHW champ gets PPV points. This is significantly higher than contracted disclosed pay. For example, McGregor gets $1 million contract but earns $15-20 million a fight

PPV cut is true but not guaranteed, if the PPV doest sell well they dont get anything according to Mighty Mouse.

If the bout vs. Jiri sold well Glover might have made bank, if not he wouldnt have got much of a boost.

The UFC volunteer shills are out in full force in this thread. They're so insecure about an organization which is 10x smaller than the UFC paying their fighters better than the UFC does.

"It's tournament pay! It doesn't count. Only backroom bonuses count."

cuz he won the tourney

his previous fight he had 80/80 - as a champion
Bellator does this all the time so they won't pay taxes. Look how much Patricio "got" in his last one and look at his tweet and what he got before that...

Nemkov is signed on 250k deal + sponsors

You hear differing reports on this. Myles Jury was disappointed because he thought it would be a sponsorship gravy train but only got $8k in sponsorships for headlining against Henderson.

Social media has changed the sponsorship game, companies aren't going to to pay that much to have their name on your shorts when they can pay to have someone make a specific product post to their followers.

I'll take the word of Bader, Anderson, Mousasi and Mitrione over Myles Jury.

I don't get it. You say 120 k. But what did he made for his title Fight vs Jiri. Champs get ppv %. Seems fraudulent way of presenting it.

This website says Glover made 8 mils in his career, including sponsorship, which is also largely due to the UFC promotion and platform.

Do you really think Nedkov got paid more for his first 10 fights in his career. Glover fought 15 years before Nedkov when the sport was way less popular. That average per fight gets lowered by the first fights which aren't that highly paid considering he was new to the company. If UFC paid so bad all these Fighters would be in Bellator and One. UFC pays the most that's why they got by far the biggest roster of top fighters in the sport.

You can't just take 1 instance where a champ or popular fighter made a lot of money. The UFC pays the largest amount of fighters for the largest number of fights yearly. They have so many shows and a big roster.

You gotta consider mid and Lower tier Fighters and number of events.

To me the PFL simply give out a mil as a way of promotion, to attract interest, by showing 1 milion as number.

The UFC also give % of PPV earnings and they sell by far the msot PPVs

Plus the UFC is the largest platform increasing the fighters name value the most, which increases their earning potentials from different venues.

If you want to include win bonus then fine...

Jason Jackson ($108,000 + $83,000 = $191,000)

Jackson is a title contender, Angela Hill loses most of her fights and makes the same.

Some Bellator guys get paid well, but they do NOT get paid more on average. That's just completely untrue.

A guy like Vera made 371k for Headlining a small card in the UFC, while Bellator champs get 250k.

I agree that Bellator alnost certainly pays a much higher percentage in revenue to fighters, but their entry level guys make like 1k/1k and their top earners will never be anywhere close to the UFC's top.

Posts like this make me laugh everytime - Go for example ask Attila Vegh, former Bellator champ how great it was to win LHW tournament of Bellator back in the day. How they tricked him and how they gave him for +- 4 fights + won of title only prize money of 100 k dollars and how many he had after he paid his team and taxes? basically nothing. - (They refused to pay him show money for fights and weigh ins, they paid him only prize for victory in tournament...)

Also u should compare paychecks of people on prelims - UFC 12 K minimal vs 300-500 dollars from Bellator. (in some cases)..
Attila Vegh fought in Bellator under Bjorn, who was known for being a cheap assho;e

Good for him winning that check and tournament. Now he'll go back to making 250k.

Their entry guys are literally 1-0 type of fighters. They have actual guys starting their careers on Bellator cards.

Here is your proof. Glover made 2.7M in 22 fights in the UFC averaging close to 120k per fight.

Nemkov has been making 300k a fight since he bacame the champion (without sponsors) so it's safe to say he already made more than a million in Bellator before his last fight where he made 1.3M. That's roughly 2.3- 2.5 million he made in 9 fights in Bellator and he is fighting again in 2 months to defend his title against Romero in the comain event of Fedor vs Bader on CBS where he will make another 300k + sponsor money so its safe to say that after his 10th fight in Bellator he will have made close to or just under 3M.

That's more than Glover made in 22 fights in the UFC lol

According to your source he's reported to have made just under $3 million in the UFC, but his net worth is reported to be over $8 million. So he's a millionaire outside of his UFC career, in fact has made more than double outside the UFC as he has by fighting? Does that sound right to you?

Either the numbers are wrong, or I think you need to think through the story that the numbers you have provided is telling.

People in 2022 still using these fake ass made up numbers from sites is sad.

They tell you right in there they are estimates cause payouts are barely released anymore. No overseas UFC/Bellator event has a payout and in US only a few states still do like cali.

Those sites are bullshit my dude, the sports daily is worst of them all. They take estimates off past payouts but these days most UFC events dont have payouts unless they go to Cali or a few states that still do.

They'll give a number that Jiri made this much money for his fight and yet Jiri's fought 3 times in UFC, twice overseas and once in Vegas, none of this fights had official payouts.

It's just funny that the same post had two different numbers that were completely incompatible with one another.
