Vadim Nemkov pay vs Glover pay

How has Glover not made a milly in the UFC yet are u dumb or stoopid

It's because you're then comparing disclosed pay vs pay + prize money. A more apt comparison would be whatever Glover made in ppv points vs Nemkov's prize money, but we don't have access to that figure.

UFC does screw its fighters in terms of pay but they're more than able to match or surpass whatever Bellator can muster up for their top guys if they chose to. That's the crux of the matter though, they're equally as willing to let guys go if they don't feel they're worth the money. One of my old wrestling coaches fought for the UFC and saved the comain from getting canceled for a big PPV in Vegas. He got soundly defeated, but got a wad of cash behind the scenes. The locker room bonus is real.

The Vegh situation happened under Bjorn, no? It's well known he was scummy.
I do agree with your point mate, and thank you for the response. The disclosures for the UFC do not tell the whole story. One of my old assistant wrestling coaches saved a co-main UFC PPV fight from getting canceled on short notice. He was soundly defeated, but got a wad of cash behind the scenes. The "locker room" bonus is real.

Glover isn't a draw. I dont see him making that much money off PPVs with the exception of his fight against Jones. I doubt that any other Glover main events have sold over 200k PPVs.

It's hard to say, but him being from a country that doesn't contribute to PPV buys (Brazil) makes me think he'd have some clauses in his contract to ensure he doesn't get shafted.

It would be interesting to see how the contracts differ for some of these guys from different countries and such.

People forget about all these moving trucks and sea containers fighters have to use to ship their undisclosed off the books locker room bonuses back to their country...

Is he really an all-time great? After losing to Jones he was fighting midfield guys for years until Jones left and the division opened up. There's a common false association between all-time greats and veterans/seasoned fighters.

I feel bad for Glover too, but It's to be expected from a promotion that hosts main events like Cutelaba vs Nzechukwu
This is misleading. It was a last minute change so this is a borderline lie.

Lol you're not too bright. Glover made the same amount of money in double the fights.

Corey Anderson said he made more off sponsors in one fight than he did in his whole UFC career. Mitirione has said similar things and so has Gegard Mousasi and these fights weren't on CBS and werent watched by 5M people.

Youre not to business savy so Ill explain: The sponsor money that the main card fighters on this February CBS card will make won't reflect their fame, it will reflect the scale of the platform and event. CBS is the most watched network in America and this will be a primetime event and the fighters on the main card will be paid very well by sponsors.

This is why the UFC caught a lot of criticisms from their fighters when they decided to cut sponsors and sign that absurd reebok deal. Michael Bisping had a rant about this.

This model works for Bellator because their fighters get paid more without that money coming out of Bellators picket.
You think Bellator can pull 5 million viewers on CBS? .... I would be absolutely shocked if they get 1.5 million viewers regardless of network.

Furthermore, not glover who you just said isn't a draw (dont know how you make the argument an unpopular guy is not popular but would get huge contracts with sponsors to promote their product to their lack of fans.. and they deserve more money to compete in front of few paying customers). You haven't seen Dustin and Stipe and Conor in commercials? Those are sponsors they just aren't stupid logos on shorts that look trashy .

Pat Cummins was your wrestling coach? That's pretty cool.

The comparison is between Nemkov who is in the upper 1% of Bellator to Teixeira who is an upper 5%-10% fighter in UFC.

Bellator can't be everything to MMA like the UFC and have 18 preliminary fights giving our 400k in bonus money per card. Going back in with Showtime/CBS was a good move though and they focus what limited star power they have (145/155 Pitbull brothers) and established names in LHW/HW. AJ Mckee they have facing off against Rizin champion. Instead UFC is giving the fans Fight Nights with unranked fighters and other low tier content.
