Rumored Usyk vs Wilder - April/May in the US

My theory is that Fury knows that Wilder will flatline both Usyk and AJ, which is why he's sidelining himself--he's hoping for a 4th fight with Wilder.
I agree he wants Wilder to clean the division for him while he infuriates with circus fights for casuals

I'd love to see it, Usyk should win easily though. He's smarter than Fury, he's not gonna position himself in a place for one punch to land and that's all he has to worry about.
Agreed. Usyk's constantly in perpetual motion in there. Even when he isn't moving his feet his head and upper body are moving. Wilder will still have opportunities to land his right hand but they will be few and far between. Usyk also has a cold feint game and good reflexes. Like you said he won't just stand in front of Wilder. If he can handle Wilder's power then it's an easy fight for him. However, nobody has really been able to take it well. Fury barely survived the first fight and he was floored a bunch of times in the 1st and 3rd fight.

what we really need is Fury v Chisora 4

BTW Fury if not lazy and well prepared does have more chanches to win vs Usyk than Wilder.
Wilder is really durable and hits very hard....while he is predictable.
Fury, if ref will allow and Fury will be in good shape does have huge advantages if compare with Wilder to win vs Usyk. He is lesser predictable, might change gameplan during fight and wrestlefuck Usyk IF ref will allow.

Ofc obiviously Wilder does have considerably more one punch power ( or let's call it effect in reality ), while Fury more uses both hands unlike Wilder and for wrestlefuck Fury with 0 doubts will generate more usable for this purpose power than Wilder and will be more skillful too to attempt do this.
Plus Wilder isn't dirty boxer so Salido type stuff we will not see here.
Usyk, despite old and not in prime still is gepard if compare with old Mr Ortiz version Wilder had in the ring.

Diggin up an old thread here
Usyk absolutely tunes up modern day Wilder. I guess he just wants some easy money

SMH. Wilder's shot. Does he still have power in his right hand? Yeah, but he looks terrible and should retire. I was hoping that Usyk was going to fight Kabayel or Wardley next. Guys that are actually worth beating. Wilder isn't even close to being a Top 10 rated contender anymore.

Edit. Wilder is currently ranked #44 in the division as I type this. This is just a money grab. I don't like it. I get it though because he promised Wilder like a year and a half ago or so that he'd fight him.

Apparently Mr. Usyk is in Bangkok right now to attend the WBC convention and "conduct business" elsewhere. He's looking shaggy af. This Asian chick he's singing with might even be a ladyboy. Sulaiman is there with Naz sitting next to him. What a pair.

Most certainly a money grab on both ends. Wilder (ever since going on ayahuasca) is completely shot and lacks the power and aggression he once possessed.

Usyk may as well have fought Fury for a third time. Would have at least made for a more competitive match (over Wilder).

Yeah, that's all it is. Fans wanted this fight several years ago but Wilder is no longer relevant. He'll only have a puncher's chance and even that hasn't been coming through for him lately. This isn't going to go rounds. It's such a mismatch now that I don't even care to see it.

collecting the last name from that era. too bad he didnt fight him when his name had some value, would have been a nice chunk added to his legacy.

Is this even a sport anymore?

Meh ... Also me always advocating big name money fights when they don't rank up

Only if usyk forgets how to duck
Its funny going back in this thread since its a few years old and seeing some predictions. Wilder really got far with just a big right and a large reach.

I always told friends that Usyk has fought everyone put in front of him, so he's earned the right to cherry-pick...

...but this still stinks. Not a fan of this fight.

At this point Usyk has completed the boxing main quests and side quests and now is doing radiant quests after the main storyline ended
