This is the PERFECT way of summing it up actually! At this point Usyk has completed the boxing main quests and side quests and now is doing radiant quests after the main storyline ended

of course if he was playing Fallout or Elder Scrolls, Usyk would be an unarmed combat specialistThis is the PERFECT way of summing it up actually!![]()
Wilder isn't coming off a loss. His last fight was against a journeyman named Herndon. Stopped him in 7. I doubt any of the sanctioning bodies will mind given that Wilder still has a name and has only lost to top guys over the last several years. They'll make out very well financially if they sanction this fight.Boxers are weird sometimes. Will any alphabet org allow him to defend against a guy coming off a couple of loses and inactivity? He should be stripped of his belts if he does.
Their nationality doesn't matter. The most relevant guys are who he should be fighting. Guys that are highly ranked and deserve the opportunity to fight for 3 world titles. Two guys qualify right now, one of which is a Brit. Either Kabayel or Wardley is who he should be fighting next.Well I guess the British HW champion fighting anybody from outside the UK would be a nice change, even if it is a washed up bum.
Or even Parker, who lost on a ref's decision while he was coked up but otherwise was beating everyone.Their nationality doesn't matter. The most relevant guys are who he should be fighting. I didn't know he had that fight. Its still dumb though and I agree with your post after this one. I don't care where they are from it should just be a current top guy and that's not Wilder anymore.Wilder isn't coming off a loss. His last fight was against a journeyman named Herndon. Wilder just responded. He doesn't sound confident that the fight will even happen. That's a positive as far as I'm concerned. However, from his perspective, if he doesn't take this opportunity with both hands then he's either crazy or his team has dropped the ball again. In which case they need to go.
Don House is Wilder's head trainer now. Jay Deas, who has been with him since the beginning, is his assistant trainer. Is he still trained by Malik Scott? Honestly don't know why he left his initial team, zero improvement showed apart from being more ballsy in Fury 3, but boxing wise, nothing.
It is a bad mismatch. That's why I really don't care to see it because I already know what's going to happen. Usyk will stop him early. He'll sit down on his shots like he did in his last fight. It isn't going to be competitive. This will look like a pro vs a complete novice; its a horrible mismatch. Wilders gonna get horribly embarrassed and knocked out fairly quickly. I think Usyk wants to fight him for legacy, because wilder is still viewed by some as the 3rd best HW of the era (outside if Usyk). Its a good payday for Wilder and there is no reason that this won't happen if wilder actually wants it, but he spent most of his career ducking the best fighters so who knows
At one point, this was an intriguing fight. At this point its kind of a joke. Wilder is shot to bits.
