Conor caught Aldo, literally that is all that was all that showed in their bout. Conor fought 2 ranked at FW before his bout with Aldo, Poirier & Chad Mendes who was a late replacement bout.
I'm fascinated by a body of work in a division, that is a criteria to me aside from defending a championship in said division. Something Conor never has done or ever will. Edgar alone would give Conor fits, let alone a Chad Mendes with a actual camp, proper training and gameplan I would favor heavily to beat him.
You're fascinated by a quick knockouts, how many times have we seen throughout the years that sometimes quick KO's is not really a proper of analyzing a bout as it happened to quickly. I personally think Conor is a stylistically a bad matchup Aldo and possible Conor beats him again if they were have to rematch, that didn't occur though so it's a ?.
Is Conor better than Aldo, maybe but Conor didn't do enough in the division to even be in the conversation.
You can have Conor above for all I care, that is your opinion. But the General consensus is Aldo is far and above the rest of the division when it comes to being GOAT, voted by his peers, coaches, media, anyone remotely in the community of MMA, from Boxers, Wrestlers, MT, Kickboxers etc.
Because we know fans like you are so reliable and unbiased when it comes who's better than who.
So stick to your opinion and I'll stick to mine.
Goodluck with your opinions in this thread.
