Conservative lobbies aren’t still trying to limit women’s access to reproductive health services?

Our marternity leave isn’t still one of the most shit in all of first world countries?

The failed war on drugs isn’t receiving massive amounts of funding while thousands and thousands and thousands of rape kits go untested for budget reasons and departments fighting sexual trafficking crimes in general are less funded, leaving a majority of victims who are young females (politically not very powerful) without justice?

Plenty of reasons for women to unite politically.

Maybe women/feminists should be vocal about those issues instead of fabricating gender pay gap myths and extinguishing due process from criminal investigations.

Like other shutdowns, a bill was introduced that would continue all pay and benefits for the military. Mitch opposed it.

If this is like the previous shutdowns I've dealt with over the last 23 years everyone will get paid once an appropriations and budget have been approved.

Nobody is happy about it. Trump was presented with a bipartisan plan, and rejected it. McConnell literally said that he has no idea what the president wants. they have been vocal about these other issues and everyone has known the reality behind them for a long time but for a few different reasons a ton of folks prefer to focus on the college protester meme and the more black and white belief driven issues.

If Republicans don't support it why should Democrats cover up for the Republican's incompetence and inability to even convince their own party to vote for these measures by coming across the aisle in even greater numbers?
