News UPDATE: Germaine de Randamie not released, but has been removed from rankings due to inactivty

How come Aldana is just #15 now? She is 6:2 in her last 8 fights and last fought on the Dustin-Conor III card in July.
 
I know P4P rankings don't mean anything but it's stupid how Irene is ranked behind Pena and Ladd even though she's ahead of them in the BW rankings.

Also, why is Norma #15 in the BW rankings when she doesn't fight at that weight and just beat Ladd (who's ranked #4)?
 
Shame I know she gets a bit a hate (and yea the Borg thing irked me) but she was without question top notch.

Hopefully we see her again... Well I know I will less she retires...
 
She made Nunez fight scared, not even Cyborg did that. On a good night with some proper TDD she could’ve taken that belt, UFC would rather get rid of her though and let Nunes crush more cans.

It's not just how long its been since she's fought, it's also how realistic they think it is to fight again anytime soon. This move comes off as if they're getting a little frustrated with her refusing offered fights or something like that.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jessica Eye was there at number 14 or something like that.

I would guess that the reason she is off the UFC roster is very simple : they offered her several opponents and she declined all the fights. She obviously doesn't really need the fight purses.
UFC seem to be getting harder about fighters not taking fights for no particular reason.

I bet they've offered her at least 3 or 4 fights and she has declined them all. There's no point having a UFC contract if you never actually fight. So on this one....I'm actually kinda with the UFC.

Did you not read the update to the thread title or any of the replies before commenting?

GDR has not been released, and she hasn't been turning down every fight that was offered. In fact she was supposed to fight Irene Aldana on November 6 but pulled out with an injury.
 
She fought a little over a year ago, Conor was out for 15 months and still kept in the rankings furthermore he was barely moved down in the rankings.
 
Anybody know what her injury was? She is posting padwork on Instagram. Her record is still very solid in UFC. Maybe Dana screwing her on pay?
 
This account keeps a close eye on the UFC rosters and makes notes of any changes re: removals. If true, clears the way for an Aldana title shot


Note: could be wrong, so I made sure to mark it rumored.
