Why remove her ranking though?
Holly hasn't fought in a bit either and she's still in the ranks and Nunes hasn't defended at BW since 2019.
Something is happening behind the scenes, It seems like a negotiating tactic by the UFC. Kinda like how they did Edwards in 2020 to get him to fight Khamzat.

Cyborgs is roided for sure, but if Germaine had a problem with that she shouldn't have fought at 145 to begin with because that entire division was made for Cyborg. She knew she would have to fight her if she won the belt, so it was a pretty absurd choice.

She has always been inactive. Been in the woman's division since the beginning and fought maybe 10 times.

Edit: 9 fights in the 8.5 years on the roster.

She last fought 14months ago.

I would guess that the reason she is off the UFC roster is very simple : they offered her several opponents and she declined all the fights. She obviously doesn't really need the fight purses.
UFC seem to be getting harder about fighters not taking fights for no particular reason.

I bet they've offered her at least 3 or 4 fights and she has declined them all. There's no point having a UFC contract if you never actually fight. So on this one....I'm actually kinda with the UFC.
