They needed to get her out of the rankings so that they can bump Pena up before her fight vs Nunes

Damn, I had no idea who that even was. So many fighters and so many forms of entertainment in this world that its almost impossible to follow the UFC.

So many people jumped the gun looking at the first few pages...

UFC has like 10 fighters ranked who haven't fought in a year or more. Should remove them all, honestly.

The real reason is that GDR has a regular job as police officer. Fighting is just a hobby for her—- something she does on vacation. She doesn’t care about the pay much and doesn’t need to fight frequently
 
She is getting older and she already reached the top in terms of goals. She is multiple champion in striking sports and UFC champion. She came from kickboxing background as a woman. She already made more than she ever expected as a female combat athlete from her country.
 
The one year rule of inactivity (on this site) without a scheduled fight is good, need to be active to be relevant in the division, but it's not enforced consistently. For Germaine, she had a fight, but got injured, so that's a bit iffy. Shit happens.

She'll regain her spot with a win, the correct way is to put her where she stands relative to other results in the division. If they re-schedule the Aldana fight, and she's #4, then Randamie should be top 3, again.

Almost like a female Stipe. I wouldn't say GDR is good, I would say she's great. She's borderline great in MMA but in kickboxing she's top of the class.
 
There has to be more women out there, right? I feel ufc might not be doing their best to scout women.

It's very impressive that she has had the success that she has had doing MMA as more or less an afterthought.
