And maybe this position is a straw man fallacy.Maybe he is not a good coach
i don't think you know what you are saying. And maybe this position is a straw man fallacy.
nah the first 2 rounds go the same way simply because umar is a better wrestler and striker. coz in the first 2 umar was the one taking merab down and scoring points and even reversing merabs takedown attempts and matching his pace. its was by the 3rd round that he started to slow and merab is like a shark smelling blood in the water, If I was Umar it would train to go balls deep for 3 rounds max pace instead of 2 and repeat the first 2 rounds to first 3 and than coast the last 2 letting merab go as crazy and lose. He might win with a little game planning to a 48-47 DEC coz thats the only way I see merab losing to aanyone. There is no crazy BJJ threat which is the actual way of beating MerabMerab drowns him easier in a rematch
In my original post I claimed Khabibs approach was wrong. You stretched this claim to “ Khabib is a bad coach” which wasn’t my position. This misrepresentation is one definition of a straw man fallacy.i don't think you know what you are saying.
Merab knows Umar will fade now. He'll come in with an even more frantic pace knowing Umar can't withstand it. Merab didn't even fight a particularly good fight by his standards and he still wonnah the first 2 rounds go the same way simply because umar is a better wrestler and striker. coz in the first 2 umar was the one taking merab down and scoring points and even reversing merabs takedown attempts and matching his pace. its was by the 3rd round that he started to slow and merab is like a shark smelling blood in the water, If I was Umar it would train to go balls deep for 3 rounds max pace instead of 2 and repeat the first 2 rounds to first 3 and than coast the last 2 letting merab go as crazy and lose. Nah it was Umar who was outpacing Merab because he could outwrestle and outstrike him in the first 2 rounds franctic pace only works if you lead it doesnot mean anything if you get getting punched and takendown yourself. biggest sign is umar reversed Merab's own takedown attempt and took his back. I dont see Merab doing any well in the first 2 rounds similar to the firsts fight. I do however see the same 48-47 victory coz I dont particularly see Umar getting any better cardio than what he already hasMerab knows Umar will fade now. good callDude, Merab beat him with a gashed shin and an injured back. Let it go. Umar can go fight Bautista or something.
People need to stop pretending that Umar/Merab was a dominant win for Merab, it was a razor close fight which was decided in the last round.
If Umar actually broke his hand in the first round it makes his performance even more impressive.
I just don't see Cory or Yan giving Merab any trouble.
Its unfortunate how inactive Umar is because the rematch with Merab is one of my most anticipated fights.
Congratulations to Merab who is undoubtedly the bantamweight goat but no one can convince me that he's not on the special sauce.
