International UK Prime Minister takes HIV test and urges others to do same amidst UK’s 53% surge in HIV cases

Fuck that, things would have to be pretty bad before we'd consider being Yanks.

If immigration is the issue, lets go with Japan or someone.

- The NHS is circling the drain.

- Our police and criminal justice system are a joke.

- Our Armed Forces would struggle to win a war against Belgium.

- We're spending Billions on immigrants and overseas aid, while taking cold weather payments away from OAP's who have paid taxes all their lives.

- Several million people live on benefits, because they're too lazy to work for a living.

- The economy's struggling, and it will get much, much worse once Trump's tariff's kick in.

If that's not, "pretty bad", what is? A fucking Zombie Apocalypse?

How much of this would the US help with?

They wouldn't even have an NHS.

They have worse crime stats than us.

They do have a fine army I'll give them that.

They also have immigration issues which aren't fixed yet.

I don't know how their welfare system works.

They also have a struggling economy.

Japan does do a lot better in a lot of these areas though. So lets go with Japan.

People will learn in a couple of months time once the new budget kicks in and a tidal wave of redundancies ensues.

No other country has an NHS as it’s a broken system.

People need to take accountability for their own health - the NHS gives no incentive to do so and thus is clogged up by fatties, smokers, and drinkers.

Plenty of countries have socialised healthcare. The NHS itself isn't the problem, the chronic mismanagement of it is.

Just asking for clarification but don't those two statements kind of counteract each other? If the economy is struggling then there wouldn't be jobs to have which means those people on benefits are at home because the economy sucks, or am I thinking about this wrong?

Trump has paused all US aid for at least six months. They are rounding up and deporting illegal immigrants by the thousands. Their economy is still the most powerful in the world, even with China doing their best to overtake them(in between causing global pandemics).

America has a crime problem, but at least over there scum who murder children are usually put to death themselves. And it's not like we're crime-free ourselves. The Albanian Mafia make hundreds of millions from the UK drugs trade, children are shot dead in the crossfire between organised crime groups, and fatal stabbings happen so frequently they barely make the news. The retail sector loses over £1 Billion per year from shoplifting, because police hardly even bother to respond to it anymore.

Although at least we're safe from people using the wrong pronouns on Facebook.

I rather suspect it's far more difficult to make the US welfare system a lifestyle choice than it is to live comfortably on benefits in the UK.

Yeah but compare all this shit to Japan Sherbro.

If we're going to be welcoming new overlords, there are better choices than the Yanks.

There are still plenty of low-paying jobs available. The service and retail sectors tend to have a high turn-over for example. But millions would rather live on benefits because it's easier than working for a living.

Meh. I've never liked the taste of raw fish, and tentacle rape has never been a kink of mine. ;)

And BJJ>>>>>>>>>>>>>the Japanese version. :)

That's just a common thing in many first world countries. A lot of people take the stance you do but service and retail consistently do the worst job with paying people and not having or a very weak benefits package. I've never truly understood why people generally blame lazy people but I almost never hear about how these low paying industries can change and what can be done to fix them.

I can't speak for what is going on in Britain but companies like McDonald's and 7-Eleven, for example, should have some of the best employee benefits in the world but they often do not to my understanding.

Doesn't give people the right to live off the taxpayer while contributing nothing of value themselves.

I don't care if your job sucks. Work or fucking starve, I'm not carrying you.
