Make it past Christopher Hitchens to get to the insight of Gary Neville?
Nothing in my life has prepared me to mentally parse and comprehend the consequences of that sentence. I think that's probably for the best.
Wrong Hitchens brother

Ah ok. :icon_lol: Shows how much I read the Daily Mail.Wrong Hitchens brother![]()
Really? im not a big paper reader but "the sun" comes to mind miles before the daily mail in a shitty papers list. That is a surprise, especially considering that the Daily Mail is known as being one of the most poorly written papers in the UK.
I would say it's bigger than soccer.

I'm joking brahs, I'm British![]()
Fair enough, plus at least the sun has boobs in it....Oh yeah, the Sun is horriffic too. I think I dislike the Mail more because at least the Sun doesn't take itself too seriously whereas the Mail seems to pretend to be a proper paper.
This article sums it up better than I can:

BAMMA is pretty well respected in the UK as far as i've seen.I used to live in the UK a few years ago (wasn't really into MMA at the time though) and I have to wonder how local shows like CWFC, BAMMA and UCMMA have been received in England. Or did the end of cage rage kind of damage English MMA. BTW pulling for a comeback by France in the six nations
No, id personally rate the DM as much worse.
Atleast when you read the sun, you know what you are getting, its all a nlbit tongue in cheek.
The DM hides poorly written articles and xenophobic agendas amongst pseudo intellectual articles about Russian Oligarchs, politcial rubbish and scientific nonsense.

God I hate the mail, and news corp...and murdoch
The daily mail is probably the only newspaper critical about the EU and other issues the rest of the subordinate media will not touch. One look at the journalists union already shows what a bunch of slavish idiots run the rest of the press.

Well i know for a fact they treat fighters well, but yer it has nothing on the UFCA lot fans treat BAMMA as a joke , they never announce fights til a few weeks before the event , there are many rumours about them not paying fighters .
It's a shame BAMMA got on Channel 5 when Cage Warriors and UCMMA are much more deserving .
I don't hate BAMMA they could have been something yet the squander it all with bad PR and a general "don't-give-a-shit-about-the-fans" attitude .
That and they consistently have the worst presentation I've ever seen. I'm sure one of their cards averaged about 1 fight every 50 minutes or so.A lot fans treat BAMMA as a joke , they never announce fights til a few weeks before the event , there are many rumours about them not paying fighters .
