Aren't you forgetting the tories proposed banning people from buying smokes altogether?
Yes I had forgotten that, although I'm not sure I would have posted it if I hadn't. They also introduced the Soft Drinks Industry Levy, which caused soft drinks to be debased and their tastes spoilt by having the sugar reduced or removed. I think you're both referring to the Tobacco and Vapes bill, which did not go through in the end, however apparently Labour have something similar in the works. We need to discuss shrinking chocolate bars and reference the 1984 chocolate rations next.It was the tories that banned people born after 2009 from buying cigs too.
As in draught off the pump? You can get that anywhere, bars, pubs, hotels. Night clubs serve pints of beer over hereOutside of going straight to a brewery, is the pub the only place you can still find Cask Ale? Is that still even readily available?
Ironically we've seen a resurgence of micro social clubs, where people build a pub in their back garden and have members that can buy booze at cost price.Damn.... That's sad. I think everyone could use more of a sense of community these days.

I've built a pub at the bottom of my land where we host sports events and BBQs

Specifically naturally carbonated ale, not forced CO2. Or "real ale", if you will.As in draught off the pump? You can get that anywhere, bars, pubs, hotels. Night clubs serve pints of beer over here

It's a total rarity in the US. You will luck out once in a while if a brewery fills and taps a Firkin.
You can't even find a proper Bitter here anymore since hoppy beers took over.
Now, to get rid off drinking outside and your transformation will be near complete. Good bye, ol’ chap.

What a bunch of cucks.
Really??? Wow. I haven’t been in years, but we did it 8 years ago. Damn, that’s a shame. Learn something new everydayYou haven't been allowed to drink on the streets for absolutely years.

Shit… Sorry English folks… Guess I was just following along with the crowd and didn’t think it all through. It would have technically been illegal then.

This sounds like a bar though. Our bars are open til like 2-4am, here. Pubs are a different thing - you don't get the sort of live music you're describing with a big crowd in a British pub. It's difficult to describe to non-Brits/Europeans but there's a difference between pubs and bars over here. You'd never go to a pub to spend the entire night with the intention of getting fucked up, partying and dancing.
It is illegal to drink in the streets but we still do it. In Las Vegas it is legal to drink in the streetsYou haven't been allowed to drink on the streets for absolutely years.
Ok l think I got what you are saying.
When I was over there awhile back the only place we went was to a bar in the hotel we were at. It was more like what you are talking about. Just drinks and a dart board and a billiard table no music. The locals came to drink and talk. Some played darts but I never saw anyone at the table, it was off in the corner area. That would considered a pub, correct?
That's a hotel bar lol. Slightly different
