Clarke is mediocre but she gave felice more trouble than she gave grasso. She smashed her nose across her face in r1. Miz was only 20 when she fought grasso but grasso was only 21. Young kids make big improvements in short spaces of time and learn from their mistakes.

It looked to me like grasso dropped for the inverted triangle twice when inoue shot which is clearly bad fight iq but they didnt look like proper td's to me. She did single leg grasso in r3 tho. I wouldnt call inoues loss mental lapses. She was easily out struck in r1 and was being out struck in r2 until the takedown. Grasso still won the grappling battle in r2 she had an inverted triangle locked up we dont know that inoue wasnt saved by the bell.

In grasso's two fights since she has stuffed every td showing improved fight iq. Clearly learnt her lesson imo. Against clark she showed excellent clinch awareness using whizzers when needed underhooking correct and using good head control pressing constantly into clarke's chest. She has clearly improved excellent show of fundamentals for a woman fighter.

Felice has good subs but is positionally sloppy watch her slopfeast with the worst wmma fighter ive ever seen lisa ellis. Grasso sunk an inverted triangle on inoue and had a close armbar attempt in r3. I think the ground will be fairly even. Grasso has a clear striking advantage better cardio and is 9 years younger. How long does felice have left at 32...

I expect felice to clinch for td's find them hard to come by due to how fundamentally sound grasso is in the clinch and to tire down the stretch on her way to being out struck. If she does get grasso down i expect her to hold her own and be able to get back to her feet. Grasso is more fundamentally sound in the clinch than pvz who she struggled with in that position. Grasso has power too she smashed the nose of the last two women she fought.

That is excellent synopsis of Alexa first floor so far in our young career. I am agreement but Alexa probably wins the fight, I'm just talking about playing herrig as the dog for value. There isn't that many underdogs on the card and I believe the right side to be herrig, but you will likely cash your ticket.

srsly Bieber is life...

In all honestly Justin Bieber fans probably have more articulate conversations then some of those I've seen on here lately ..

OK, little bit of exaggeration LOL

Thanks Goodfella. Like I said I haven't had a chance to review any past fights, so appreciate the insight. I played her + Hamilton for a unit as I thought lines would get worse, but will definitely review tape before adding any more (or possibly buying out). At this point I would assume we would see some good improvements from Grasso fight to fight, but I guess we will see if the tape shows that or not..

No problem bud, sham is making excellent points as well and at the end of the day I do believe that Alexa probably gets her hand raised. I just hate playing favorites who are so young. Even worse is playing female favorites who are young LOL

I will be playing a few two team parlay's and this is one that I like a lot

Tanaka/Ramos Over 1½ rounds -155 » Chas Skelly -250 @ +130

Think Tanaka/Ramos @ +155 for o2.5 is excellent

I don't follow. Ramos has 6 finishes inside 1st round you don't see here yellow light ?

True, but almost all are by submission and Tanaka is a good grappler. He survived 3 rounds with Rani Yahya last time out. Guessing that is what has him confident it goes over 2.5.

That said, just from scanning his record Ramos seems like the type to finish or go out on his sword. Plus he is only 21, so naturally is probably a little overzealous.

Tanaka seems to only lose close decisions, one of the most physically strongest at BW, has a good top game, good grappler, Ramos has a goto submission in the triangle choke but I think Tanaka is adept enough in his BJJ defence to overcome it. More often than not, I feel like this is a grappling fest that goes all three. -155 for the over is a decent price.

Yeah and Tanaka has hell of a heart. Doyou remember how he survived Yahyas arm triangle choke attempt? his face was was turning red/purple but dude just didn't give up. Impressive.

Can anyone find Price vs Hosch?

@Ukram youre the man at finding fights, any chance you can find the Price fight vs Hosch that went to a decision? Ive tried everything

Yes Please

That was the first thing I tried guys, sadly its like it don't exist..... and yeah I know exactly why we need that fight especially with prices r1 finishes and potential cardio or skill concerns.

Checking around though I spotted lots of price old vid fights, lots of naga vids, grappling competitions and matches, some kickboxing fights from several years back. Lots of r1 price finishes
but a 3 round fight with a guy 4-3 tells so much, only if one can find it !

There is no guarantee price can't be the next undefeated prospect but he has only beat low end guys, throw in thatch into that list, is morono the right play? there is more tape on him, we know he has heart and at least cardio to do well and seems decent overall, so its hard to not like morono.

bookies think its even too....

Herrig over Alex as I believe that she can get the necessary takedowns to win a unanimous decision. It's purely a play.

As a dog love felice, nice striking improvement shown in her last fight with them leg kicks she really needs them to set up her scrambling and submission attempts, I think she could give grasso a hard fight and like adding her in a hail mary parlay or sub prop small.

I wouldn't mind seeing some grappling though as that is pretty much the best part of any Felice fight..face down, ass up!

That ass destroyed the tuf house toilets

daniel jolly vs foster (9-4 guy) (a fight before ufc) jolly avoided ground at any cost vs misha. he was on top of misha and just stood up from there really weird. here he does decent passings (not a whitebelt imo) and holds top control. Could definitely give problems to rountree on the ground if it goes there. what concerns me is jolly's stand up. he was afraid to box with misha and kept spamming right high kick. rountree throws great combinations but he goes into panic mode when he gets pushed against the fence and taken down. he needs to calm the fuck down. jolly been training at ATT lately (maybe small confidence increase) anyone know why jolly has been out for 1,5 yrs?idk how to play this.. rountree is clearly better on the feet but gets taken down too easily. if it goes there I see jolly controlling him. fuck!

I like rountree ko r1, jolly su after but leaning atm on rountree think his striking excels here if he gets that chance but if jolly starts discussing take downs, wrestling in interviews or even goes for a take down in the fight ill be tempted to hit a live jolly bet. Jolly has been training latic acid reflex cardio drills and rear naked chokes and back mounts..... pretty much what he needs to do here and has shown wrestling in the past.

Right, I understand that you're hesitant on playing the over 1.5 given the history of Carcacinha, and his numerous first round finishes, but that record is a bit deceiving and a terse glance will have you missing the forest for the trees. That is to say, for the most part, when he has stepped up to face above average competition he doesn't slice through them like a hot knife through butter. For instance, he himself was finished under 1.5 rounds in his penultimate fight on the regional circuit against The respectable Manny Vasquez. However, that's not to say that Carcacinha has been the stereotypical Brazilian can crusher. Indeed, he does have a few nice victories to his name against formidable regional talent. The best fighters Carcacinha has beaten are Fabio Lima, Alfred Khashakyan, Allan Nascimento and Rafael Correa yet he was only able to get one of them out of there inside the first frame which was Khashakyan, and he only hit that mark with 20 seconds to spare.

Meanwhile, Tanaka is about as durable a fighter as they come. This is a clash of Brazilian jujitsu versus judo with both man holding blacbelts in their respective disciplines. Specifically, Tanaka is a very high level judo player with near impenetrable takedown defense. Once more, even when he is taken to the mat, against top flight BJJ players— see Rani Yahya — he has been able to keep from being submitted. In fact, it has 14 by career, Tanaka has never been knocked out nor submitted and he has faced some very respectable competition. This includes BJJ black belts Yayha,, Roland Delorme, and Joe Soto.

Tanaka isn't a big threat with his knock out power but he does have very technical boxing and excellent TDD which I believe will give us a glorified kick boxing match as the grappling will neutralize itself. If this does go to the canvas I do think it will be Tanaka who chooses to take it there.

So take what you want with this information, I just believe that Tanaka is too durable to get steamrolled by the 21-year-old inside seven minutes and I also don't think that The Japanese fighter will get the finish that quick.

Lol I don't think Skelly has ever landed a strike standing.

The guy murders himself to get to 145, has no gas tank, and does no damage.

Does anyone know if Texas ratified the new rules?

Fun fact: Morono, Trujillo and Tanaka also fought in the same card before ( UFC 195 ). :)

I remember that because it was my first big parlay win, +1700.

IIRC I also had Kanehara vs McDonald at +700 and McDonald got out of a katagatame using the fence illegally. Screw that.

Oh, and my 2 cents for now:

Trujillo, Grasso, Andrade and Skelly should hit, although Herrig sub/dec may be a good hedge along with Hill Dec.

Curious as to your logic here

As someone mentioned before, Herrig's takedowns may be a threat. I don't think that's gonna happen, but I'll take that at a good price for security

EDIT: It's WMMA after all. How can you be safe with 2 fights in a parlay?

I'm playing more juiced faves (than my normal 0) on this card...

I agree with Sham about Grasso. Taking her for 1u at -280. There's a decent chance she'll be the better grappler, and this will be an easy striking match for her. Her TDD fundamentals looked great last fight. Herrig will be too unathletic to get her down.

I also took OSP at -280 for 2u, with an intent to hedge back down to 1. I just don't see how you could watch Volkan's last fight and think he has any chance. He is going to get massacred on the feet, and OSP will be too athletic for him to keep down. Volkan will probably end up in trouble on the ground himself. OSP can win this fight in so many ways.
