How is 30 kind of old?
I thought the average UFC fighters age is 29.5? Read this somewhere on another thread.
Exactly. Especially at HW.
How old was Andy when he was signed?

Ukraine have very close ties to Russia.
I remember coming across Nikita Krylov's fight finder page some time ago and was intrigued. Though not sure what the Ukraine scene is like.
I knew he would be in the UFC one day just based on the pic. I love the pic an old Tapout shirt and UFC gloves. You knew this guy wouldn't ever sign with Bellator.
His FightFinder profile is strange. Here's a video from March 23 2013 MMA event:

Krylov's fight starts at around 1:14:00 and he loses via sub around 1:17:26. And he's still undefeated in all his online profiles. Fight's not even mentioned.
Culturally I would characterize him as an Ukrainian-Russian as he speaks perfect Russian and possibly speaks it at home as I haven't noticed any notable accent. Ethnically he also might be partly Russian as he has Russian last name. So there is some Russian in him.None is Russian
If they want people for a Russia card, they can easily find good Russians
30 years old is kind of old to be signed. The younger one looks like a nice up and comer though.
Daniel Omielanczuk, 30 years old, 15-3-1
Nikita Krylov, 20 years old, 14-0
I'm especially excited to see Krylov fight in the UFC, he's still very young and has great experience for a fighter his age. He also won the majority of his fights by submission although the opponents he has faced aren't anything special
