UFC signs two European Heavyweights

Is he? Maybe I'm thinking of someone else. My mistake.
Also, he has only fought in Europe once. Last year on UFC on Fuel in Nottingham. He's certainly playing up his Croatian heritage, though. So I can't realy fault people for buying it.

More HW's are needed, but are these guys really the best they could find?

Good stuff.

Russia and eastern Europe are a breeding ground of MMA prospects lately, hopefully the UFC can sign a few more, especially if they're heavyweights

Thanks to sherdog, I managed to check out Daniel; seems like he could be fairly exciting.

The Ukranian is a good young addition.

Either way, it's nice to see the UFC add some more HW's

How is 30 kind of old?
I thought the average UFC fighters age is 29.5? Read this somewhere on another thread.

Average age of UFC fighters. Not fighters just now signed. Climbing up the ladder at the age of 30 is no easy task. Fighters on average fight what? 2 to 3 times a year? 4 if they're popular and durable maybe. There's alot of factors that play into it.

It's about time. If the UFC busted into that Russian/eastern euro market some really ppv friendly fight could come out of it. These guys throw interesting techniques, go hard for subs, and look to finish. UFC should be getting the very top prospects, bellator can get the second tier with the occasional blue chip.

It will always be the weakest division in my opinion. A week division means no dominant champion.
