Mods please don’t move this to other forums, this is not really a fantasy matchup, this fight was actually rumored to happen a few months ago and both guys have history talking about each other.

Don’t get me wrong, I would love to see a rematch between Ank and Chama, but I truly believe the best course of action is to make Pereira vs Chimaev as a PPV main event.

The questions about Poatan’s wrestling have been answered, he is damn good at takedown defense, this fight was viewed as a mismatch but I believe this narrative is false after what we witnessed.

Most dangerous striker vs most dangerous wrestler, this fight can be billed as “Clash of Disciplines”.

If Borz wins, he becomes a superstar most likely, if Chama wins then he catapults to insane stardom and will effectively gain all the reputation he lost and then some.

Book it, please!

I heard you out. And I’m gonna say “no thanks.” Kamzat doesn’t need to start playing any more games with his weight. We’ll be lucky if he makes it to his next fight. Alex can stay busy with guys in his own division.

Sorry. Not gonna happen. And I'm glad. Poatan doesn't have many fights left. And I don't want to see him wrestlefucked and strangled.

Money fight, LFG, but the DDP title defense against Khamzat is what all fans want.

Chama Never needs to go down in his fightng weight again.

To Ank's credit he succesfully worked a solid game plan, as boring as it made the fight. Alex painfully learned his TDD was fine, hope his rematch is soon and his KO power again displayed.

Sounds like a fight they would make... when needing a BMF belt to headline a PPV

I want to see DDP vs Khamzat for MW belt. Alex is not going back to MW, and why would Khamzat change yet another weight class? he needs to focus now and fight often and try to win a belt

Khamzat would smash Pereira without breaking a sweet. Pereira is easier fight for Khamzat than Hill or Rountree.

Man how many weight clases is he gunna try and scam for a title shot..

How about just fucking fight your way to the belt in one division and not duck most of the year while yelling I KEEEL EVERYBODY....

How about fucking that from Khamzat

That would make him the first fighter to earn titleshots in 3 different weight classes, without competing for the title once.
Not likely.

I have some interest in the fight, but it could diminish Poatan's aura even more. Khamzat would wrestle more aggressively and chain wrestle. There's a chance he runs through Alex and then it's hard to cash in on Alex at HW. They're also in need of competition for Aspinall. I think it's hard to do both Poatan at HW and Poatan vs Chimaev, with how old Poatan is. If Poatan soundly beats Chimaev, it take lustre off Chimaev. I guess if Poatan goes to war with Chimaev on the feet while avoiding the takedown, then both could come out looking good. Maybe if Khamzat soundly outwrestles Poatan and then Poatan still somehow wins by TKO that keeps them both looking good. Any other outcome has too much downside.
Chimaev might end up unpopular from beating such a fan favourite, plus does he even need that rub? He's already got casual popularity in some big markets it seems.
For a fight itself, DDP is more exciting because he has good and versatile wrestling and BJJ, whereas Alex has basically only shown that he can defend along the fence and then hold steady.
And I want to see Khamzat finally fight for a belt, rather than holding it up more.

You guys are clueless lol. Alex did very well and some people even think he won against a much much larger wrestler... Khamzat almost took a nap from Gilbert Burns.

Stick to watching your boring fighters that you love and leave the exciting fighters to fight who we wanna see them fight. Thanks!
