Which why fans and the UFC should just call themselves an entertainment company instead of a sport. A large amount fans only want to watch the 'exciting' fighters and don't care if the Fitch's and Okami's of the world get canned after dedicating decades to the "sport".

I don't like watching certain NFL teams who rely on defense and only score 10 points per game. F em, hope the league bans them.

I'm not arguing it was a good cut, but I don't think it was a terrible cut. He was knocked out in three of his last six fights and hasn't looked great.

I explained why. He shouldn't have been ranked so high unless he consistently beat ranked opponents, which he didn't. He fought top competition occasionally. He also had problems with Dana always bitching about how broke he is. So I wasn't as surprised to see him get cut as I am with this cut.

Its about personality. Fighters cant only rely on their ability to fight. They have to get peoples attention, stand out and be talked about. What is this shit, really, worst cut ever

My Jaw just dropped right now. An absolutely ridiculous move. The worst cut ever- no justification at all for this cut. The UFC should just rename itself the Ultimate Entertainment Championship. This is a bullshit move. Plain and simple. You keep guys like Garcia, Akiyama and Hardy around, but cut a top ten fighter like Okami, who had won three fights in a row against tough opponents and one loss to Jacare means a cut (SMH). Clearly it is no more about getting victories.

Absolutely ridiculous move. F*** Dana and the UFC, because Okami did not deserve this. Criticize me all you want- but no Sherdogger can justify this move to me. Rankings mean shit, your record means shit- i guess it is all about entertainment. As a MMA fan, i actually liked Okami fight. This isn't Boxing- the sport is MMA. All you crazy idiots applauding this move should make the switch to Boxing or better yet Pro Wrestling. I liked Okami and this was a terrible cut.
