I was mostly joking. It’s obviously done so they can add a photo of him with the belt as fast as possible if he wins until they can get an actual photo of him with it or just discard if he would’ve lost.

Everything is idenctical, the shape of the muscles etc. Somebody shooped the tattoo and skin colour.

Hill's arm does seem to be shaped quite differently.

Imagine some UFC intern having jpgs titled "Black champion belt holding arm", "White champion belt holding arms" etc. in his work folder.

This actually seems likely to me. I don't see a reason to think this Usman's arm either.

No clue. Won't they have to fly them in to Vegas and then pay for food, hotel etc?

Eitherway the UFC is known to be cheap as hell. UFC fighters have to pay for tickets and PPVs like the rest of us

If a new champ gets beaten up horribly they probably don't wanna take a photo of them during a few weeks after the fight.

Maybe they also prefer to have all photos taken in a UFC photo studio with a particular setup.

So if they want a new photo of a champ a few days after the win, but without fresh bruises, they'll have to make the champ travel into the photo studio after they've gone home. And some champs probably wanna take time off after having won a belt, and not have to travel around to take a photo.

Hill was pretty busted up after the fight, kinda makes sense to use a shopped stock image to get the pic out quick (alternative would be to take photos of each fighter with a belt before the fight, but that's what a professional org would do )

Wonder if they did this when there's a new lower-melanine champ tho
