ok grandpa
Me being young enough to actually know who she was would actually be the complete opposite of grandpa. The people who grew up in her era are like just now having kids of their own (lol).

Grandpa would be if a bunch of old dudes in this thread were swooning over prime Farrah Fawcett or Sharon Stone (or whatever bond girl Roger Moore was trying to rail at the time)

I'm 51 and prime Farah Fawcett was before *my* time. I was in early elementary school. Now prime Sharon Stone, on the other hand...<{jackyeah}>

The 90’s were a much better time than now easily. It is also always fair game to post attractive women.
Thank you for taking a stand against the crowd who thinks 40 is the new 80. There are still far too few people wlling to do so. And you're absolutely right about the '90s.

Fortunately, or unfortunately..

I’m older. So I had stirrings over 2 of Charlie’s Angels (Farrah, and Jaclyn Smith).

Heather Locklear, and Heather Thomas were amazing. Locklear with her beauty. And Thomas for her brick shithouse body.

There were some fine looking ladies in the 70s, and through the 80s. Locklear married Tommy Lee of Motley Crue. Then later Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi. Valerie Bertinelli married Eddie Van Halen.

Good times, great music, and hot women in spandex, and leather, with teased long hair

Tensions flared between Alexander Volkov and Sergei Pavlovich following their heavyweight bout on Saturday.

Volkov picked Pavlovich apart from the outside to score a unanimous decision win in the co-main event at UFC on ABC 6 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. When Volkov walked up to his opponent to shake hands after the fight, Pavlovich shoved his fellow countryman and former sparring partner. Volkov subsequently revealed that Pavlovich cursed at him, which was out of character for the heavyweight. Volkov believes it is Pavlovich who has a problem with him and should be the one to initiate a resolution.

“To be honest this is the first time really that I ever heard Sergei curse because he kind of told me to, well I’m not sure what he said. But basically, I once in a while allow myself to curse, but this is the first time I heard him maliciously use curse words in my direction,” Volkov said at Saturday’s post-fight press conference. “So, I mean if he’s got a problem, I think it’s probably on his side because I let the situation go. And if he’s got a problem, he should be the one to initiate the resolution.”

Volkov vs. Pavlovich initially seemed unlikely to come to fruition because the former sparring partners did not appear to be willing to fight each other. However, the consensus between both parties appeared to be that one wouldn’t back down if the other accepted the matchup. While the booking was suddenly finalized, no one confirmed who accepted the fight first until they came head-to-head at the face-offs. Things appeared to suddenly get heated between the otherwise quiet fighters, with both parties accusing each other of accepting the booking first. Volkov has now denied having any knowledge of the booking at all before it was officially announced by Dana White.

“I’m gonna try and explain it without sarcasm as it was,” Volkov said. “When the fight was announced, I found out about the fight from my American coach Ronny [Markes], who was sitting next to Ali Abdelaziz and they were talking about the fight. All three of us, Ronny, Ali and me, we found out about the fight from the announcement made by Dana White.”

It wouldn’t be the first time the UFC has used such matchmaking tactics. The promotion allegedly tried to similarly promote fights such Dustin Poirier vs Benoit St. Denis at UFC 299 and Robert Whittaker vs. Paulo Costa at UFC 298 without the fighters having officially accepted the bouts. While Abdelaziz tried to dissuade him from taking the fight, “Drago” by then already believed that the opposite camp had accepted.

“When my coach got in touch with Sergei’s team, which was the next evening it seemed as though, from the words of Sergei, that this fight was already offered to him,” Volkov said. “That’s what my coach understood. And Sergei said that, ‘If Volkov says yes then I’ll also not back out.’ And UFC came up to me and said, ‘Sergei has said yes if you will.’ Then Ali was trying to approach me and ask me to not agree to the fight but from what I understand, from their side there was already an agreement. And I don’t think that that’s denying the fight or dropping the fight.”

Robert Whittaker appreciates the respect Sharabutdin Magomedov has shown for him.

Both Whittaker and Magomedov won “Performance of the Night” bonuses for their respective stoppage wins at UFC on ABC 6 at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday. Whittaker took less than two minutes to knock out Ikram Aliskerov, who replaced Khamzat Chimaev on nine days’ notice in the main event of the night. Meanwhile, Magomedov put on a striking masterclass to secure a late stoppage over Brazilian debutant Antonio Trocoli, who took the fight on three days’ notice.

Whittaker, who watched Magomedov’s fight against Trocoli, was impressed by the Dagestani’s performance. However, “Bobby Knuckles” noted that Trocoli started to fatigue after a hectic flurry early in the first round.

“I did [watch his fight]. The guy he fought was tired man, very tired,” Whittaker said at the post-fight press conference. “Not taking anything away from Shara. I like the way he utilized his kicks, the way he stayed focused and the way he danced on the outside, avoided the dangers of half the first round. Yeah, it was admirable. But the guy he fought was tired.”

Given Magomedov’s rising popularity, Whittaker was asked about a potential clash against the undefeated prospect in the future. While Whittaker is not one to duck any opponent, he believes Magomedov still has a few more steps to climb before being considered a potential opponent.

“I’m at the top of the ladder. I fight everyone. I’ve fought everyone. There isn’t anybody that I haven’t fought,” Whittaker said. “Earn your stripes, earn your shot and get there. I’ve never picked or danced away from any opponents. If our paths cross, they cross.”

Magomedov agreed that a Whittaker booking ideally lies somewhere further down the line in his career. When Chimaev pulled out of his clash against Whittaker, Magomedov was asked if he would have liked the opportunity to fight “The Reaper” on short notice. While “Bullet” admitted that a chance to fight Whittaker would be too good to pass, the Dagestani said he would prefer the fight to be for the title.

And Whittaker can’t help liking Magomedov a little bit more for that respect, even though he tries not to develop any feelings of fondness for middleweights who could be potential opponents.

“I appreciate the respect he’s giving me,” Whittaker said. “Now I like him a little bit more. I try not to like any middleweight because there might be potential opponents. But I’m respectful to all middleweights because honestly only the other middleweights understand what we go through. Understand the hard work and the sacrifice and the determination you need to succeed in the sport. So, they have the most respect for me, as much as I try to not like them. And he’s doing his thing, he got a good win tonight. I wish him the best. And like I said, if out paths cross one day they cross. Maybe, maybe not.”

Rob wasnt a stepping stone, when youre a stepping stone your opponent is given all the advantages, Rob had all the advantages in this fight not Ikram.

You're damn right he wasn't, despite the powers that be's best efforts to make him one.
