IIRC Jimmy said he never even heard from Dana, Ari, Patrick, or Hunter. Some office lackey emailed him that they weren't renewing his contract.
That's the point. This is where Rogan loses me...
He's a jiu-jitsu black belt and yet his breakdowns of jiu-jitsu techniques are absolutely terrible.
He's got enthusiasm for days and I know that's very important, but he was hired to be the color commentary guy (at least once upon a time) and when he talks about grappling, it's like he's never grappled a day in his life.
When I watch the fights with guys from my gym, we just look at each other like

Dana is like a mini Vince McMahon, all he cares about is making money for the business. Some rules are sacred one day and non-existent the next.Dana changed the rules as he sees fit. Whatever happened with Smith yrs ago aint got shit to do with today. Stop living in the past, old man.
Drink in the salty tears of the contards everyoneThe more I hear from Khabib the less I like him. Seeing all his connections w all thats going on and the fraud doesn't help either. Seems like a terrible person.
I guess you're not much up to date on things. He's in big trouble rn and has some terrible affiliations.Drink in the salty tears of the contards everyone
The Conrad tears still exist and have high degree of salt content. Just because you have reasons to crawl from your rocks now dont mean your not still mutants, to be mocked and laughed at and have rotten fruit thrown at you.I guess you're not much up to date on things. Khabib was only 2lbs bigger than Conor on fight night...Oh wow 200 pound Khabib beat former 145er and acted tough.
So cool.
Conor was just selling the fight, numbnuts.
Team Khabib check-inYou sound like you're not well. This isn't a teams based post.
My grievance is not about his breakdowns not being high-level, it's about them being straight up WRONG.how many people do you think are going to understand what's being said?
It's dumbed down purposefully for the general audience who doesn't know a thing about jiu jitsu.
It’s funny the way these Conrats seem to think Khabib owing money is some sort of win for Conor. Khabib could go to prison for the rest of his life and it will never change the beating Khabib put on him that night.Team Khabib check-in
Shit is all good here have a beer
Take care brush ya hair
Could you provide some examples? My grievance is not about his breakdowns not being high-level, it's about them being straight up WRONG.
Which, to me, is definitely not what you want when most people watching are casuals..
Calling anaconda chokes guillotines and stuff like that. He's constantly saying things that are flatly incorrect.
Sure, no one is perfect, we all make mistakes... But, like I said, he explains grappling sequences as if he's never grappled before.. To me, that's problematic.
But yes, his enthusiasm and trademark "OOOOOHHHH!!!" are definitely fun and pretty iconic at this point.
He reminds me of Tony Romo. When Romo first started doing broadcasts with Jim Nantz, he was soooo good and his breakdowns were incredible. Now, he just phones it in. He's excitable and that's IT...
I'm sorry, I don't have any specific ones off the top of my head (so I probably shouldn't have said anything), but if I remember any or if I hear some new ones, I'll try to remember to let you know.Could you provide some examples?
