UFC Legend Tim Sylvia to Retire

Gotta admit when Tim was at his peak (PED's or not) he was fun to watch.
I hate hearing about the brain damage. Hope it doesn't affect him greatly.

All of those guys have been Top 10 in there career. He sure as hell deserves credit for beating them. Also Monson wasn't a punching bag at the time. He had only been stopped by strikes 1 time (against Ricco) 4 years Monson fought Tim.

Lol @ people thinking Sylvia is a PED fiend in this sport.

He ran one or two incompetent cycles without knowing what he was doing whilst 80% of the roster have their cycling dialed in so they will never test positive.

I remember him calling him a "tiny shit" in a monologue where he was very complimentary about him.
 
I thought Sylvia retired from being a fighter a long time ago.

Lately, he's been a stuntman who shows up in terrible shape to cash paycheques getting his ass beat.

Any info about them being ranked #1 in their division in the UFC?
Any info about them being ranked Top 10 for 7 years straight?
 
Starting watching his fights in 2005. Wish him luck. Sucks about the head trauma.

Tim Sylvia smashed Ricco to get the title
Ricco smashed Big Nog in Big Nog's prime (despite totally BS pride judging -- watch the fight)

Don't hate on Tim because his Prime was "before TUF" and thus before you had ever heard of MMA.
 
Only fights i remeber is Tim/McGee and Tim/Mir. Oh, and that Telligman fight.
